Onsen & Wellness

Keiunkan has natural hot springs sourced from four distinct mineral compositions. The waters are natura hot spring from Nishiyama Onsen. The highlight here is the private open air bath which you can reserve for 45 minutes at the time of checkin.

You also have indoor and outdoor baths separated by gender which rotate every day to give everyone a chance to experience the natural beauty.

  1. Open-air Baths:
    • Bokei no Yu is constructed from Koyamaki wood, known for its dense, oil-rich, and moisture-resistant qualities. It offers a sensory experience with its natural woody fragrance. It’s right next to the Hayakawa River, so you can relax and listen to the soothing sounds of the water and feel connected to the natural world.
    • Hakuho no Yu: This bath features high-quality Hakuho stone. The open-air bath overlooks the Hayakawa Valley, which allows you to soak in mineral-rich waters while surrounded by stunning natural beauty.
  2. Private Open-Air Baths:
    • River Oto & Se Oto: These large stone baths provide a more intimate experience for relaxation and can accommodate up to 15 people. Advanced reservations are required.
  3. View Bath:
    • Hiko no Yu/Ishikaze no Yu: Located on the top floor, these baths offer panoramic views of the Hayakawa mountain range. The ancient cypress used in Hinoki no Yu and the stone construction of Ishikaze no Yu enrich the bathing experience with a touch of natural elegance.
