Bessho Sasa Ryokan (Kaneyamaen Bessho yada) is located in Fujiyoshida and has incredible suites with open air baths and stunning views of Mount Fuji. The ryokan’s theme is water, greenary and sun which was integrated into the ryokan’s aesthetic.

  • Fujisan Outdoor Bath: This outdoor bath boasts a three-tiered design with an uninterrupted view of Mount Fuji. The bath’s structure make it possible for you to enjoy the scenic beauty while relaxing in the hot spring, including a deeper section for standing knee-deep and a top tier designed for lying down.
  • Akafuji Large Bathhouse: A large indoor bathhouse and an outdoor bath, both with stunning views of Mount Fuji. It features various types of baths, including an outdoor bath, lying bath, bubble bath, and sauna.
  • Garden Foot Bath: Located within a 20,000-tsubo garden, this foot bath provides a spot for relaxation. It’s ideal for unwinding after a walk in the garden.

The hot spring is known for its high alkalinity, with a pH of 10.3. It’s a calcium-sodium sulfate spring.
