Dining
Every season at Fukumakan brings new seafood to the table. You’ll dine on freshly caught fish from the Sea of Japan, prepared with care and served in traditional kaiseki style.
In spring, enjoy sea bream, horse mackerel, and local shrimp. Summer brings abalone, oysters, tuna, and whelks. In autumn, look for sawara, a prized blue fish. Winter highlights include Matsuba crab, flatfish, amberjack, and rich, flavorful mackerel. Zuwai crab also appears from early fall.
Meals are served with local flair and deep respect for the ingredients. You’ll taste the difference in every dish.
Onsen and Wellness
The main building has two indoor communal baths—one suited for a group of 10 and a smaller one for three. These baths are available 24 hours a day. While there’s no open-air bath, each annex includes a private bath for your own quiet soak.
