Overview
Hakuba Panorama Hotel puts you in the heart of Hakuba, with shops, restaurants, and the slopes of Happo-one within easy reach. You can walk to the Nakiyama lift area, and the bus stop for the Happo Gondola is also close by. In winter, free shuttle options help you reach other Hakuba Valley ski areas with less effort.
After a day in the mountains, you can return to a simple, comfortable hotel with mountain views, an onsite hot spring, a craft beer Taproom, and a buffet breakfast before your next day outside.
Accommodation
Every room at Hakuba Panorama Hotel comes with stunning mountain views, a private bathroom, Wi-Fi, and daily cleaning. You can choose from three room types to suit your travel needs:
Mountain View Western Room
Every room at Hakuba Panorama Hotel gives you mountain views, an en-suite bath, Wi-Fi, and daily cleaning. You can choose from three room types, depending on how you want to sleep and how much space you need.
The Mountain View Western Room offers a flexible layout with a bunk bed plus either a king bed or two single beds. It works well when you want a simple Western-style room with practical space and views of the surrounding peaks.
The Mountain View Family Room gives you more room to spread out. It has a king bed plus two single beds, making it a comfortable choice when you want extra space after a full day in the mountains.
The Mountain View Japanese/Western Room blends Western bedding with a Japanese-style tatami area. You can sleep on two single beds, while the tatami section can be set with futon bedding. This is the best choice if you want a touch of traditional Japanese style without giving up Western comfort.
Whichever room you choose, the mountain views keep you connected to Hakuba’s alpine setting from the moment you wake up.
Dining
Each morning starts with a changing buffet breakfast. You can expect filling, familiar choices such as eggs, bacon, steamed vegetables, fruit, cereal, breads, coffee, tea, and juices. It is an easy way to fuel up before skiing, snowboarding, hiking, or exploring the village.
In the evening, The Taproom gives you a relaxed après-ski setting without leaving the hotel. You can enjoy 10 taps of Japanese craft beer from Baird Brewing and Hakuba Brewing Co., along with casual Western-style dishes such as burgers, fish and chips, homemade chili, chicken parmesan, edamame, chili cheese fries, and onion rings. Reservations are needed, and there is a small play area for young children.
Onsen and Wellness
The onsite hot spring uses natural mineral water drawn from the hotel’s own well beneath the building. The water stays icy cold underground, then is heated and maintained at about 41–42°C for bathing.
The baths are divided by gender and are free to use during your stay. After time on the slopes, the warm mineral bath gives you an easy way to loosen tired muscles before dinner at The Taproom.
The spa may close during quieter periods in the green season, so confirm availability for non-winter stays.
Guests with Tattoos
If you have tattoos please contact the hotel in advance to confirm access during your stay.
