Overview
Stay close to the Iida Interchange at Super Hotel Nagano Iida Inter, a convenient base for driving through southern Nagano and the Ina Valley. You can reach the hotel in around four minutes by car from the interchange, while Kirishi Station on the JR Iida Line is around a 14-minute walk away.
After a day on the road, you can relax in a natural hot spring, enjoy a restful room, and begin the next morning with a complimentary breakfast buffet. Free parking for 101 vehicles makes the hotel especially convenient when you are exploring the region by car.
The hotel places a strong focus on sleep and well-being. Original mattresses, slightly dimmed room lighting, humidifying air purifiers, healthy ionised water, and a choice of pillows help you settle down after a busy day.
Accommodation
Choose from several Western-style room layouts, including Extra Rooms, Super Rooms, Connecting Rooms, Barrier-Free Rooms, Ladies’ Rooms, and Theatre Rooms. The Extra Room gives you additional desk space for working, writing, or organising your belongings, while the Super Room offers a flexible layout suited to couples or small families.
Connecting Rooms give you two linked spaces, allowing you to stay close to family or friends while keeping separate sleeping areas. A Barrier-Free Room provides a more accessible layout, and Ladies’ Rooms include selected room items for women.
In a Theatre Room, a projector replaces the standard television, allowing you to watch entertainment on a larger screen from your bed.
Your room includes a private unit bath, television or projector, quiet refrigerator, alarm clock, humidifying air purifier, wired internet connection, and free Wi-Fi. Towels, rinse-in shampoo, body soap, tea, toothbrushes, razors, and sleepwear are also available.
An original mattress helps reduce pressure on your body, while the softer room lighting creates an atmosphere suited to sleep. You can choose from eight pillow types in the lobby, subject to availability, so you can select the height and firmness that feel most comfortable.
Dining
Start your morning with a complimentary buffet of Japanese and Western dishes. The daily selection includes freshly baked bread, salad made with seasonal organic vegetables, warm dishes, rice, soup, and food inspired by Nagano.
The buffet changes from day to day, giving you a balanced start whether you prefer a light breakfast or a more filling meal before driving or sightseeing. The breakfast also focuses on ingredients prepared without unnecessary additives.
Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 8:30 from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays and public holidays, you can eat from 6:30 to 9:00.
Dinner is not included, leaving you free to explore restaurants around Iida or arrange your evening meal as part of your travel plans.
Onsen and Wellness
Ease tired muscles in Iida Castle-no-Yu, the natural hot spring inside the hotel. Separate bathing areas are available for men and women, so you do not need to follow a time-switched bathing schedule.
The water comes from Iida Castle Onsen and is classified as an alkaline simple hot spring. Its low-tonicity alkaline water has a smooth texture and may help leave your skin feeling soft. A warm soak can also help you relax after driving, walking, or working.
The hot spring water is heated and circulated through a filtration system. You can use the baths from 15:00 until 9:30 the following morning, giving you time for an evening soak, a late-night bath, or an early start to the day.
Shampoo and body soap are provided in the bathing areas. Bring the bath towel and hand towel from your room when you visit the hot spring.
Guests with Tattoos
You cannot use Iida Castle-no-Yu if you have tattoos, body paint, or similar markings.
Facilities
You can use free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, an internet corner, coin-operated laundry machines, vending facilities, and a lobby breakfast area. VOD room entertainment is available, while trouser presses are placed beside the elevator on each floor.
The lobby provides a choice of eight pillow types and comfortable sleepwear. You can also choose up to five original organic amenity items for each night of your stay, subject to availability.
Your room includes a private unit bath, television or projector, refrigerator, humidifying air purifier, wired internet connection, alarm clock, tea, towels, shampoo, and body soap. Ladies’ Rooms include additional selected items.
Free parking is available for 101 vehicles on a first-come, first-served basis. The parking area can also accommodate long vehicles measuring more than ten metres.
Activities
Use the hotel as a base for exploring Iida and the wider southern Nagano region. Iida lies in the Ina Valley between the Central and Southern Alps, with mountain scenery, rivers, fruit-growing areas, and historic neighbourhoods within driving distance.
In central Iida, you can walk along Ringo Namiki, an apple-tree-lined street created as part of the city’s recovery after the major fire of 1947. You can also see Akamon, the surviving red gate connected with the former Iida Castle, and explore the streets once shaped by the old castle town.
For a longer outing, travel into the mountain districts around southern Shinshu or follow the Tenryu River through the valley. Seasonal landscapes, rural communities, traditional performing arts, and local food give you plenty to discover before returning for an evening hot spring bath.
