Overview

Accommodation
You can choose from Standard, Extra, Ladies, Sofa, Twin, Connecting, and accessible rooms. Most categories measure approximately 12 square metres and include a wide 150-centimetre bed. The Sofa Room adds a separate sofa, while the Twin Room pairs a wide bed with an additional 90-centimetre bed. Connecting Rooms join two rooms, giving you more personal space when travelling together.
The accessible room measures approximately 23 square metres and provides a more open layout with a wide bed, loft bed, and sofa. Ladies Rooms include dedicated room equipment and toiletries. Selected Theater Rooms replace the standard television with a projector, allowing you to watch films or online content on a larger screen.
Your room includes an original mattress designed to reduce pressure on your body, gentle lighting intended to support sleep, and healthy ion water. You also have free Wi-Fi, wired internet, a unit bath, television or projector, humidifying air purifier, quiet refrigerator, electric kettle, USB charging point, mobile charger, hairdryer, mirror, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
You can choose a pillow from the lobby and collect comfortable sleepwear before heading to your room. Tea, razors, desk lamps, skincare products, and other selected items are also available, although loan equipment and pillow choices remain subject to availability.
Dining
Begin your day with a complimentary Japanese and Western breakfast buffet. Freshly baked bread, seasonal organic vegetables, salads, warm dishes, soup, rice, and daily side dishes give you an easy way to build a balanced breakfast. You can also taste dishes connected to Tochigi, with selections changing according to the day.
Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays and public holidays, it remains open until 9:00 AM.
In the evening, the complimentary Welcome Bar opens from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You can choose from alcoholic drinks and soft drinks or prepare your own cocktail or alcohol-free mocktail. Service hours may change according to hotel operations.
Onsen and Wellness
Natural Hot Spring Hidesato no Yu provides separate shared indoor baths for men and women. The baths remain open from 3:00 PM until 9:00 AM the following morning, allowing you to soak after a late arrival or begin the day in the hot spring.
The water comes from Nasu-Shiobara Kamionuki Onsen. It is a colourless and clear, hypotonic, weakly alkaline, high-temperature spring with a mild feel against the skin. Bathing in it is associated with relief from fatigue, joint pain, and nerve pain, while its alkaline character is also valued for leaving the skin feeling smooth.
Shampoo and body wash are available in the bathing area. There is no open-air bath or reservable private hot spring bath.
Guests with Tattoos
You cannot use the shared natural hot spring baths if you have tattoos, body paint, or similar markings. There is no private hot spring bath.
Facilities
You can relax in the breakfast and Welcome Bar lounge or choose toiletries, sleepwear, and a pillow from the lobby area. The hotel also provides free Wi-Fi, separate hot spring baths for men and women, 24-hour coin-operated washing machines and dryers, complimentary laundry detergent, vending machines, and trouser presses beside the elevators.
A smoking corner is available away from the rooms. On-site parking provides 76 flat spaces on a first-come basis, and advance reservations are not accepted. The hotel also supports longer stays with laundry facilities, charging equipment, desk lamps, and other useful loan items.
Activities
Walk to Sano Yakuyoke Daishi and discover one of the city’s best-known temples. Founded in the tenth century, it remains an important place for prayers connected with protection from misfortune and good fortune for the year ahead.
Sano is also known for its local ramen, with many restaurants serving noodles in a light soy-based soup. You can browse regional food, crafts, and souvenirs before returning to the hotel.
For shopping, Sano Premium Outlets is within easy driving distance. Ashikaga Flower Park is also nearby and offers changing displays through the seasons, including its famous spring wisteria and winter illuminations.
