Overview

Full Moon Ajiro, also called Mitsukiajiro, is a private whole-villa rental on a hill in the Minami Atami and Ajiro area. The villa is reserved for one group per day, giving you the whole building, garden, bath, kitchen, and living spaces to yourself.

This is a quiet, adult-oriented hideaway, but it is not strictly adults-only. Children can stay, while stays by minors only and noisy party use are not accepted. The setting works well when you want sea views, private hot spring bathing, self-catering, barbecue time, and an easy base for Atami, Ajiro, Usami, and the Izu coast.

From the rooms and lawn garden, you can look out toward the sea and enjoy Atami fireworks when the display is held. In warmer months, the garden works well for barbecue. In winter, the sunken kotatsu in the Japanese room gives you a warm place for hot pot, conversation, and slow evenings.

Accommodation

Full Moon Ajiro is a whole-building rental for up to six people. The villa includes a Japanese-style room with a sunken kotatsu, two Western-style bedrooms, a dressing room, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and lawn garden.

The Japanese-style room gives you a relaxed place to sit, eat, and enjoy the view. The Western rooms include a clean sea-view bedroom and a calmer second bedroom, so you can choose how to divide the space between couples, friends, or family. Bedding includes two beds, one sofa bed, four futon sets, and mattresses, with winter blankets prepared during colder months.

The villa is designed for private, flexible stays rather than hotel-style service. You have air conditioning in each room, heating support in winter, a bathroom heater and dryer, humidifiers during winter, a washlet toilet, Wi-Fi, phone charging cables, HDMI cable, 4K TV, Netflix, YouTube access, washing machine, and basic laundry supplies. The building is non-smoking indoors, with an outdoor smoking space.

Towels, toothbrushes, and roomwear are not kept as standard free items, so bring your own or use the villa’s paid overnight sets and samue rental.

Dining

Full Moon Ajiro is a self-catering villa, so you prepare your own meals at your own pace. The kitchen has the main tools you need for a relaxed stay, including a refrigerator, rice cooker, electronic oven range, coffee maker, fish roaster, IH tabletop cooker with compatible pots, oven toaster, tableware, cookware, and a water server.

Basic seasonings such as soy sauce, sauce, salt, pepper, and wasabi paste are prepared, along with drinks such as coffee, tea, and Japanese green tea. This makes it easy to bring seafood, local dried fish, vegetables, meat, or hot pot ingredients and cook in the villa.

From spring through autumn, you can use the barbecue equipment in the lawn garden. The set includes a grill, charcoal, fire starter, tongs, garden table, chairs, lanterns, and insect-repellent mist. Barbecue use is limited to the permitted evening hours and depends on the weather because the garden area does not have a roof. When rain prevents outdoor barbecue, a smokeless hot plate is available indoors for those using the barbecue plan.

The surrounding Ajiro and Atami area has takeaway seafood, local dried fish, supermarkets, and delivery options, so you can plan either a simple stay with ready-made food or a more hands-on villa meal.

Onsen and Wellness

The villa uses Usami Onsen water. The indoor bath has a hinoki tub and can be used 24 hours a day. Because this is a home-style villa bath, the hot spring is not kept running constantly, but you can enjoy natural spring water privately inside the villa.

Outside, you can draw hot spring water into footbath buckets and enjoy a private foot soak anywhere within the grounds. This is a simple but memorable part of the stay, especially when you want to sit in the garden with a sea view or enjoy the fireworks from outside.

The spring quality is sodium-calcium chloride spring water. The source temperature is 97.0°C, and the pH is 7.2. The water is associated with support for chronic muscle and joint discomfort, neuralgia, frozen shoulder, bruises, sprains, cold sensitivity, peripheral circulation concerns, mild high blood pressure, mild asthma or emphysema, hemorrhoid discomfort, stress-related symptoms, recovery after illness, fatigue recovery, cuts, and dry skin.

Full Moon Ajiro is a private whole-villa rental with no shared public bath. You can use the indoor hinoki hot spring bath and outdoor footbath privately with tattoos.

The villa is made for longer, self-contained stays. You can cook, do laundry, stream movies, use the garden, enjoy the hot spring, and spend most of your time without needing to leave the property. Parking fits up to three high-roof vehicles, and the station pick-up service can include a stop at a nearby supermarket when arranged in advance.

Pets cannot stay. Fireworks, loud music, karaoke, and outdoor noise that disturbs nearby homes are not allowed. Barbecue equipment brought from outside is also not allowed.

Activities

Full Moon Ajiro gives you a private base for enjoying the sea-facing side of Atami and the wider Izu area. You can watch the Atami fireworks from the rooms or garden when the event is held, spend warm months with garden barbecue, or enjoy hot pot in the sunken kotatsu during winter.

The area works well for golf, tennis, marine sports, fishing, touring, coastal drives, and simple seafood shopping. Ajiro is also known for dried fish and local seafood, so buying ingredients and cooking them at the villa is one of the easiest ways to enjoy the region.

The location also gives you access to Atami, Usami, Ito, and the Izu coast. You can keep the stay slow with bathing and sea views, or use the villa as a private base for sightseeing along the coast.
