Garland Court Usami offers a private hot spring escape in the green hills above Usami, Itō. This adults-only condominium hotel combines the independence of an apartment with the pleasure of having a natural onsen bath inside your room.

With only 11 apartments, the atmosphere feels quiet and personal. Each room includes a kitchen, living and dining space, separate bedroom, washer-dryer, and semi-open-air hot spring bath. You can prepare your own meals, bathe whenever you like, and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery without following a set resort schedule.

The hillside location places you away from the busier coastal streets, making Garland Court Usami especially appealing for couples, solo breaks, longer stays, and quiet time with friends.

Accommodation

Garland Court Usami offers three apartment categories: Standard, Grand, and Premium. All rooms are non-smoking and include a separate bedroom, living and dining area, kitchen, and private semi-open-air bath supplied with natural Itō-Usami hot spring water.

The 43㎡ Standard Room offers a comfortable layout with a wall-style kitchen. The 43㎡ Grand Room adds an island kitchen, creating a more open setting for cooking and dining. The Premium Room is the largest category at around 51㎡ and includes an island kitchen with extra room to unwind.

Every apartment includes a television, refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, cookware, tableware, washer-dryer, air conditioning, hairdryer, towels, toiletries, samue-style roomwear, and slippers. The setup makes short breaks easy while also supporting longer visits.

Check-in is available from 15:00 to 20:00, and check-out is by 12:00.

Dining

Garland Court Usami mainly offers room-only accommodation, giving you complete control over your meals. Your private kitchen includes the main appliances, cookware, and tableware needed for self-catering.

Pick up seafood, vegetables, drinks, and other ingredients near Usami Station before travelling to the hotel, then enjoy breakfast, dinner, or late-night snacks in your apartment. The dining area gives you space to sit down properly rather than relying on a small hotel-room table.

Meal-inclusive plans may be available during selected periods, but there is no restaurant or regular meal service on the property. BBQ equipment is also not available.

Onsen and wellness

Every apartment has a private semi-open-air bath supplied with natural Itō-Usami hot spring water. You can enjoy the onsen throughout your stay, from a quiet morning soak to a warm bath before bed.

Opening the bath windows brings in fresh mountain air and views of the surrounding greenery while keeping the comfort and privacy of an indoor bathing space. There is no public bath, so you never need to share the onsen or plan around communal bathing hours.

The private setting is one of Garland Court Usami’s strongest features. You can move between the living area, bedroom, and hot spring bath whenever it suits you.

Guests with tattoos

Tattoos are not accepted at Garland Court Usami. This rule applies to entry, accommodation, and use of the private hot spring baths, regardless of the tattoo’s size or visibility.

Each apartment includes a full kitchen, living and dining area, separate bedroom, private semi-open-air hot spring bath, television, internet connection, washer-dryer, heating, air conditioning, and useful everyday amenities.

Free on-site parking is available, and the reception desk operates from 9:00 to 20:00. The hotel does not provide a shuttle service, room service, a restaurant, or BBQ facilities.

Garland Court Usami is designed as an adults-only retreat. Children, pets, and unaccompanied minors are not accepted. Cleaning takes place after check-out rather than daily during your stay, giving the apartment a more independent, private feel.

Activities

The best way to enjoy Garland Court Usami is to slow down. Prepare a meal with local ingredients, open the windows to the mountain air, enjoy the private bath, or spend an uninterrupted afternoon reading and resting.

When you feel like exploring, Usami Beach, the coastline, local restaurants, and central Itō are within driving distance. The wider area also offers seasonal strawberry picking, coastal sightseeing, and access to attractions around Itō and the eastern Izu Peninsula.

A car offers the easiest way to reach shops and sightseeing spots. Garland Court Usami is around 15 minutes by car from JR Usami Station, so collecting food and drinks before travelling into the hills will make your arrival smoother.
