Overview
Oukai Villa Izumi offers a peaceful stay in the quiet hills of Izumi, just 30 minutes by car from Kansai International Airport. Surrounded by cherry trees and mountains, this private ryokan-style villa blends traditional Japanese charm with modern comfort. Originally built in the 1980s as a private home, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a warm and welcoming inn. In spring, over 80 cherry trees bloom around the villa, painting the landscape in soft pink. With only one room available, you can enjoy complete privacy and a personal touch throughout your stay.
Accommodation
Your room is over 50 square meters and combines Japanese aesthetics with modern comfort. It features tatami flooring, futon bedding, and mid-century-style Western furniture. A private bath, kitchenette, and a serene view of the courtyard give you the feeling of a home away from home. It’s quiet, spacious, and designed for full relaxation. Up to three people can stay in the room, making it ideal for couples, friends, or small families.
Dining
Start your day with a healthy Japanese or Western-style breakfast served right in your room. Dinner is also available and features carefully prepared seasonal dishes using fresh ingredients. Whether you’re enjoying the view from the window or the soft morning light on the garden, every meal becomes a relaxing part of your day. For dinner, expect traditional Japanese flavors in a calm, intimate setting.
