Accommodation
Choose from four types of Japanese-style rooms, each suited to the size of your group and your travel plans. Type A accommodates 1–2 people, while Type B is ideal for 2–3. Larger groups can book Type C or D, which hold 3–5 and 4–5 people respectively. Each room comes with a private bath, offering comfort and quiet during your stay.
Dining
Enjoy multi-course Japanese meals that showcase flavors from old Osaka, known as Naniwa. Dinner includes local favorites like chanko nabe and takoyaki, which you can even grill yourself. These dishes bring you closer to Osaka’s food culture in a fun and memorable way.
Onsen and Wellness
After a busy day, head to the large communal bath and relax. While each room has its own bath, the ryokan invites you to unwind in the larger space. The bath is open from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM and again from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM. You’ll find essentials like body soap, two-in-one shampoo, hair dryers, and toiletries available.
Guests with Tattoos
If you have tattoos, you are welcome to use the private facilities in your room. Please check with the front desk if you have any questions or would like help arranging your bath time.
Facilities
The ryokan includes two reception halls for banquets and events. The large hall fits up to 80 people and costs 8,000 yen per hour. The medium hall fits 40 and costs 6,000 yen per hour. Both require a minimum booking of three hours. Make sure to reserve in advance.
Visit the Coffee Lounge for a relaxing break with freshly brewed coffee or tea. It’s open from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The ryokan also provides accessible restrooms and handrails in the large bath to support travelers with mobility needs.
Activities
Take advantage of Ryokan Kuramoto’s prime location and explore Osaka on foot. Walk to America Village or Namba Grand Kagetsu in 10–15 minutes. Hop on a train for quick access to Tsutenkaku, Shinsekai, Osaka Castle, USJ, or the Kaiyukan aquarium—all within 20–25 minutes.
Step outside and enjoy local street food like takoyaki and okonomiyaki, or shop at Ebisubashi and Shinsaibashisuji.
