Overview

Step into Yu-To-Relo Beppu, a modern Japanese-style inn where you can soak in the natural hot spring waters of Kamegawa Onsen. This onsen is one of the renowned “Eight Hot Springs of Beppu,” known for its quiet atmosphere and therapeutic waters. Whether you’re here for relaxation, food, or exploration, you’ll find everything within reach. Stroll to famous local attractions like Chi-no-ike Jigoku and Tatsumaki Jigoku, or simply unwind in your room after a full day.

Yu-To-Relo Beppu invites you to rediscover Beppu and Oita through local ingredients, heartfelt service, and the warm, flowing waters of its historic onsen.

Accommodation

Choose from eight types of rooms designed to suit every style of traveler. If you want to soak in natural hot spring water in private, book a deluxe twin room with a semi-open-air bath. These rooms offer a spacious layout, twin beds, and modern interiors designed by a female architect. For those who prefer traditional elements, the Japanese modern twin room includes raised tatami flooring, a large powder room, and plenty of space to relax.

Families or groups can enjoy the accessible Japanese-Western rooms with barrier-free design and handrails. You’ll also find Western-style and Japanese-style rooms that offer garden or mountain views. Every room includes basic amenities, from tea sets to bath towels, and air conditioning for comfort throughout the year.

Dining

Enjoy creative banquet-style dining built around the concept of local production and consumption. Dinner includes a seasonal kaiseki course that highlights Oita’s freshest seafood and vegetables. Summer menus might include Kyushu black wagyu, steamed seafood, and sashimi, along with regional favorites like chicken tempura and handmade cold noodles.

Start your morning with a healthy Japanese breakfast composed of 15 small dishes, each crafted with local ingredients such as hot spring-steamed tofu, mentaiko, and shiitake mushrooms. The ryokan accommodates specific food allergies with advance notice, although meals are prepared in shared kitchens, so traces may remain.

Onsen and Wellness

Relax in Kamegawa Onsen’s soft, natural spring water. This sodium chloride and sulfate spring moisturizes your skin and helps you recover from fatigue, neuralgia, and joint pain. You can bathe in the large communal bath, which includes a mist sauna, or step outside into the open-air bath surrounded by greenery.

For a more private experience, reserve a chartered bath at the front desk. This is perfect for families and can accommodate up to eight groups per day.

Guests with Tattoos: If you have tattoos, you can use the private bath by reserving in advance. The large communal baths may not be available if tattoos are visible.
