Special Rooms
Oborozuki, Kokonoe, Sasameyuki These three premium rooms include a jet bath overlooking Beppu, a massage chair, and a dressing area. Each room gives you 50–55㎡ of space to settle in and relax. These rooms are perfect for those who want to indulge in a little extra comfort and privacy.
Japanese-Western Style Rooms
Hagoromo A spacious room with a separate bath area and Ryukyu tatami. Enjoy both a Japanese aesthetic and the convenience of Western beds. These 42–49㎡ rooms can accommodate up to four people.
Yumeakari A cozy 41㎡ room that includes a tatami area and sofa seating. This is a versatile space where you can relax however you like.
Japanese-Style Rooms
Chidori Stretch out on the tatami in this simple, family-friendly room. The 34–42㎡ space includes a shower booth and is great for guests with children.
Otome This Japanese-style twin offers a warm tatami setting with Western beds. At 27–29㎡, it’s ideal for one or two people.
All rooms include Wi-Fi, a TV with cast function, a coffee maker, a refrigerator, and a full set of amenities including nightwear, bath towels, skincare products, and even phone chargers. Every detail is in place to help you feel at ease.
Dining
At Hanabeppu, each meal showcases the flavors of Oita. The head chef selects ingredients directly from local producers and prepares every dish with care. Meals are served in one of three dining spaces: Kocho on the second floor, or Tamatebako and Wabisuke on the first.
Special Premium Kaiseki (March–June) This seasonal course includes kabosu yellowtail, Bungo beef, and other local specialties. It’s a luxurious way to experience the best of Oita’s seasonal produce.
Hanabeppu Kaiseki (March–June) A beautifully arranged course meal that highlights the freshness of the season. The chef prepares each dish to bring out the true character of local ingredients.
A La Carte Options Choose from a selection of local favorites like Bungo chicken tempura and Oita fried chicken. Premium extras like Seki mackerel and sashimi platters are also available with advance reservation.

Hanabeppu’s hot spring is a sodium bicarbonate spring—often called a “beauty bath.” It leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturized, and it’s known to help with skin conditions and minor aches.

Women’s Bath – Otohime This area includes an indoor bath, open-air bath, and a mist sauna tiled with bamboo and camellia mosaics. The microbubble bath creates a silky, milk-like water texture, offering deep relaxation and hydration.
Men’s Bath – Momotaro Enjoy indoor and outdoor baths filled with mineral-rich water. The bath helps ease muscle pain, joint discomfort, and neuralgia. Though compact, it provides a full hot spring experience.
Family Bath – Smile Available by reservation, this private bath is ideal for families or anyone seeking more privacy.
