Overview

Nestled just a 5‑minute walk from JR Kinosaki‑Onsen Station, Kinsui Annex is an affordable, traditional-style inn tucked one alley back from the main street. It offers a laid-back escape in the heart of Kinosaki’s historic hot spring town.

Inside, you’ll find simple Japanese-style tatami rooms (no TVs, all non-smoking) equipped with private toilets, air conditioning, refrigerators, and free Wi‑Fi. The low-key interiors, wooden finishes, and futon setup help you immerse in a classic ryokan atmosphere without distractions.

Every stay includes a sotoyu-meguri pass, granting free access to all seven famous public baths in town—just use your pass at the entrance to each bathhouse. Plus, Kinsui Annex has three private onsen baths (ceramic, cypress, and rock) available for guest use at no extra charge.

Guests appreciate the convenience and value: comfortable rooms, a relaxed atmosphere, and easy access to Kinosaki’s charm, including nearby public baths, local shops, and restaurants. While service is friendly and straightforward, some visitors note a more minimal approach compared to the main Kinsui building.
