Dining
Shin Kado Ya serves kaiseki cuisine that celebrates the flavors of the season. Carefully prepared with fresh local ingredients, every dish brings out the natural taste of the region. Expect seafood, vegetables, and delicacies that change with the time of year.
You can also enjoy local alcoholic beverages. The house sake, Shin-Kado Sake, is a smooth junmai ginjo brewed with pure rice and Mt. Fuji spring water. Atami Beer and a selection of wine are also available to complement your meal.
Onsen and Wellness
All hot spring baths at Shin Kado Ya use natural water piped directly from the ryokan’s private springhead, Hirato-no-yu. The water flows nonstop into every bath, maintaining a high temperature of 59°C. This calcium-sodium chloride spring helps ease fatigue, improve circulation, and relieve muscle and joint pain.
Tenkuu (Open-Air Bath)
