Kinosaki Onsen

Kinosaki Onsen is a picturesque hot spring town with a rich history dating back over 1300 years. This charming town is built around the willow-lined Otani River and is renowned for its traditional atmosphere and architecture, with seven public bathhouses (sotoyu) that guests can visit wearing yukata and geta, creating a nostalgic and immersive experience.

Each of the seven bathhouses offers a unique bathing experience, from the outdoor settings to indoor baths designed in various historical styles. Visitors often embark on an onsen-hop, trying out different baths throughout their stay. Kinosaki Onsen is also known for its delicious seafood, especially crab, which is a local specialty during the winter months.
