Surrounded by the stillness of Lake Akan and the gentle spirit of Eastern Hokkaido, your stay becomes a journey back to calm and care.

Dining
At the restaurant, you experience Hokkaido’s changing seasons in every bite. Dishes use ingredients nurtured by the land and sea, with menus changing throughout the year. You can dine with ease: your stay includes unlimited beverages—no need to order separately at the restaurant, bar, foot bath, or from your fridge (special drinks are not included).
- Sofu-zen: A refined multi-course kaiseki made with seasonal ingredients and served with artistic presentation.
- Moegi-zen: A traditional kaiseki meal filled with the flavors of the northern lands.
The dining room includes Japanese-style private spaces with low tables and chairs, offering both comfort and quiet privacy. Guests staying in the Kasumi no Za suite can enjoy kaiseki meals served in-room.
Onsen and Wellness
Each suite includes its own open-air onsen bath, offering privacy and sweeping views of Lake Akan. Whether you soak at sunrise or under the stars, you can feel your body unwind with the rhythm of the lake.
Two public baths offer distinct experiences:
- Gin no Shizuku (6th floor): A stone indoor bath with a soft touch, paired with a reclining hot stone sauna.
- Kin no Yumi (7th floor): An outdoor bath filled with milky hot spring water that glows under sunlight and forest shade, paired with a sitting-style sauna.
Baths rotate by gender daily. These simple hot springs help ease fatigue and gently care for your skin.
Spa Treatments
Restore balance with in-room spa care. An esthetician visits your suite so you can relax in complete privacy. Treatments are available in the afternoon and evening.
- Facial care: Using natural Japanese ingredients, the facial activates skin from deep within for a fresh, smooth glow.
- Body care: Gentle, essential oil-based massages help release tension and guide your body to calm.
- Combined facial and body sessions: Custom options available to suit your rhythm and time.
Forest Bathing Treatments
These treatments use rare Akaezomatsu essential oil, derived from local conifer trees and distilled during forest conservation work. The oil’s refreshing scent calms the nervous system and eases your body into deep rest.
- Facial massage: Cleanses, tones, and revives your skin with natural botanicals.
- Full-body massage: Uses warm oils to improve circulation and ease swelling.
Let the forests of Akan embrace your spirit.
