At Asanoya, every guest room includes a hot spring bath, so you can enjoy Yumura’s famous waters in complete privacy. Choose from three styles of rooms:
- Standard Rooms: These rooms include a unit-style hot spring bath and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. Some allow small dogs.
- Room with Open-Air Bath: Soak in your own outdoor hot spring bath anytime during your stay. Enjoy the view, the fresh air, and the healing waters without leaving your room.
- New Asanoya Style Yukomori: This upgraded room includes an open-air bath and a private dining room. You never need to leave your room to fully enjoy your stay.
All rooms include a bath, bidet toilet, refrigerator, safe, hair dryer, disinfectant, bathrobe, free Wi-Fi, and a full set of amenities including towels, yukata, toothbrush, and toiletries.
Dining
Your meals at Asanoya highlight the best of the San’in region. Dinner features seasonal kaiseki cuisine, carefully prepared by skilled chefs. You’ll taste local specialties like Tajima beef and Matsuba crab, depending on the season. Some dishes are prepared right in front of you for an extra special touch.

Public Baths: Soak in the open-air bath and take in the seasonal views. The indoor bath offers space to stretch out, and the geothermal sauna helps you relax deeply.
Private Baths in Your Room: Your room includes a bath where 100% pure hot spring water flows directly from the source—even from the faucet and washbasin. You can soak as often as you like, day or night.
The baths come stocked with everything you need: towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, razors, brushes, and more.
Guests with Tattoos
Since all rooms include private onsen baths, you can enjoy the hot springs in complete comfort regardless of any tattoos. You won’t need to worry about restrictions in public bathing areas.
Facilities
Throughout the property, you’ll find everything you need to stay comfortable and connected. Every room includes free Wi-Fi, and you can leave your luggage at the front desk before check-in or after check-out. A night guard is on duty, and the entrance is secured late at night.
If you plan to arrive after 6:00 PM, let the staff know in advance. While English support is limited, the staff provides a simple guide during check-in and can use a translation device to help.
