You’ll find no frills or luxury treatments, just honest comfort in a space that encourages conversation, relaxation, and discovery. With its retro charm and casual style, Sunline Beppu lets you shape your trip however you like.

Dining

Sunline Beppu doesn’t offer meals, but that’s part of the experience. Step outside and you’ll find dozens of local places where you can enjoy Beppu’s food scene—from street-side izakaya to cozy cafes. This is the essence of “stay-and-eat-separately,” where you rest at the guesthouse but eat your way through the town.

You can also use the shared kitchen, which includes:

  • Fridge and freezer
  • Microwave, toaster, and kettle
  • IH cooktop
  • Plates, cups, and utensils
  • Dining tables and chairs

The common area doubles as a TV lounge and manga reading space, giving you room to relax between adventures.

Onsen and Wellness

At Sunline Beppu, hot springs aren’t just a feature—they’re part of the rhythm of your stay.

Public Baths (16:00–9:00 next morning)

  • Large tiled indoor baths (separate for men and women)
  • Shampoo, body soap, dryers, lockers, and showers available

Private Bath (Family Bath, 16:00–22:00)

  • Reserve on-site only (no phone bookings)
  • Shampoo, soap, dryer, and showers included

The water flows from Beppu’s Kitahama hot spring and features sodium, calcium, magnesium chloride, and bicarbonate. This mildly alkaline, high-temperature spring helps ease skin issues, muscle aches, and general fatigue.
