All rooms at EPUY are non-smoking and look out onto a quiet forest view. Choose from four styles, including rooms with private hot spring baths or work-friendly layouts for longer stays.
Deluxe Twin Room with Private Bath
This spacious suite combines a twin bedroom with a private spa-style area and deck. Enjoy soaking in a hot spring bath while surrounded by forest views.
Workation Room
This version of the Deluxe Twin includes ring lights, speakers, and a workspace, letting you stay productive and relaxed.
Twin Room with Open-Air Bath
Soak under the sky in your open-air hot spring bath on the private deck. The room offers forest views and space to relax.
Standard Twin Room
A calm, simple room designed for a cozy stay, equipped with a shower booth and soft lighting.
Double Room
Perfect for couples, this room includes a canopy bed and a peaceful forest view.
Dining
Savor βOnuma Slow Food,β a culinary approach centered around ingredients sourced within an 80-kilometer radius of the resort. The restaurant combines elegant French techniques with local seafood, vegetables, and herbs, all framed by Ainu-inspired decor and natural light.
Dinner
Enjoy creative French cuisine in a bright dining room framed by white walls, a fireplace, and windows to the garden. The kitchen showcases regional ingredients and honors the traditions of Onuma.

Onsen and Wellness
Relax outdoors in a hot spring bath where you can feel the cool wind of Onuma. The public onsen features open-air baths with forest views, as well as separate saunas for men (dry) and women (mist).
Hours: 1:00 PM β 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM β 9:30 AM
Closed: 12:00 AM β 5:00 AM and 9:30 AM β 1:00 PM for cleaning
Indoor baths are not available
The onsen is clothing-free and gender-segregated
Tattoos are not allowed in the public onsen
Private Baths
For more privacy, reserve one of two secluded baths:
- Aoyu Siwnin: A tranquil retreat designed for solo or couple use.
- Kuroyu Kunne: Includes a waterfall-style hot shower for added comfort.
Private baths are available from 12:00 PM until 9:00 AM the next morning (cleaning from 9:00 AM β 12:00 PM). Advance booking is required.
Spa Treatments
Book a gentle massage from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (last booking at 10:00 PM). This service is available for overnight stays and must be booked in advance. Treatments are not medical in nature and may be unavailable to certain guests.
Guests with Tattoos
Guests with tattoos may not use the public onsen. However, you can still enjoy a private bath by making a reservation at the front desk.

Access
EPUY is about 20 minutes by car from Shin Hakodate Hokuto Station, and about 3.5 hours by train from Sapporo. If you’re arriving by train, taxis and local buses are available for the final stretch to the hotel.
