Accommodation

All rooms at Hotel Ito Powell offer ocean views and spacious layouts ranging from 39 to 47 square meters. You can choose between two types of views:

• Oceanfront Rooms: Face directly east, offering uninterrupted views of the sea and the morning sunrise.
• Beach View Rooms: Face south, giving you a sweeping view of the coastline, the beach, and the city of Ito.

Room Types

• Deluxe Western-Style Room (Oceanfront): Soft tones, semi-double beds, and space for up to five people. A relaxing and spacious retreat on the upper floors.
• Deluxe Western-Style Room (Beach View): Similar layout with warm light and expansive views of the coast and mountains.
• Standard Japanese-Western Room (Oceanfront): Combines a twin-bedroom with a 6-tatami Japanese room, ideal for families.
• Standard Japanese-Western Room (Beach View): Places the Japanese room at the window side, with views over the town and mountains.
• Deluxe Japanese Room (Oceanfront): A 15-tatami space with a wide veranda overlooking the sea. Quiet, elegant, and limited in number.

All rooms include a private bath, toilet, TV, refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi. Amenities include towels, yukata, soap, toothbrush sets, and additional items available in the large baths. Please note that the hotel uses a central heating and cooling system, which may limit temperature control during seasonal transitions. Fans are available upon request.

Onsen and Wellness

Hotel Ito Powell offers some of the best hot spring experiences in the area. The sea-facing open-air bath lets you soak while watching the sunrise, with the water appearing to flow directly into the ocean. In the evening, gentle waves glisten under the moonlight, creating a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere.

• Spring Quality: Calcium-sodium chloride spring (high-tonicity, neutral pH)
• Bathing Style: The outdoor bath uses pure, free-flowing spring water; indoor baths combine free flow and circulation systems.

The water comes from 150 meters away and reaches temperatures of about 41.9°C. In winter, slightly hotter water is added for comfort.

Effects

Soaking in this spring helps relieve joint stiffness, digestive issues, muscle pain, and fatigue. It also promotes recovery and boosts circulation. Additional benefits include improved skin condition and stress relief.
