HOURAI Floor (11th Floor)
Inspired by the mythical paradise “Hourai,” these top-floor suites offer a deeply restorative stay with access to a private guest lounge.
Classic Suite: Enjoy 101m² of space, an open-air bath, in-room dining, and a corner room design that adds panoramic views.
Concept Suite: Features a 103m² layout, three beds, in-room hot spring bath, and exclusive lounge access.
Standard Suite: A 79m² twin room with the same elegant details and private onsen bath.
Junior Suite Classic: A 40m² Japanese-style room with serene interiors, in-room hot spring, and meals served in your room.

- Akagane, Oku, Sagan, Suikyo: All four rooms measure 40m², accommodate two people, and include twin beds and a private hot spring bath.
Retreat Rooms (5th Floor)
Six rooms, each 40m² with twin beds and private indoor onsen. These rooms offer a cozy retreat with restful privacy.
Deluxe Rooms (9th–10th Floors)
Deluxe Twin Rooms: 40m² rooms with in-room hot springs and in-room dining service.
Corner Deluxe Classic: Traditional Japanese-style room with two spacious tatami rooms (10+6 mats), perfect for families.
Deluxe Classic: A 12-tatami mat Japanese room that comfortably accommodates up to four guests.
Standard Rooms (6th–7th Floors)
Twelve rooms, each 40m² with tatami flooring and twin beds, providing a simple and restful space with elegant Japanese design.

Drinkable Onsen Water
Only at KAMEYA HOTEL can you taste the spring water. Located at the entrance, this spot offers a sip of longevity-blessed mineral water said to help with atrophic gastritis and constipation.
Sauna
Located in the historic annex Ryugu, the Ryugu Sauna offers two distinctive experiences:
- Sea (Umi): Overlooks the Japan Sea with wide views of the horizon and sunsets.
- Sky (Sora): A quieter room focused on calming sky views and inner peace.

Access
By Train
From Tokyo, take the Joetsu Shinkansen to Niigata, transfer to the limited express to Tsuruoka Station. From there, it’s 40 minutes by bus or 25 minutes by taxi.
By Car
Take the Kan-Etsu, Hokuriku, and Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressways to Route 7, or via Tohoku Expressway and Yamagata Expressway to Route 112. Either way, the trip takes around 6 hours.
By Air
From Tokyo to Shonai Airport is about 50 minutes. From the airport, a taxi ride to the hotel takes approximately 10 minutes.
