Dining
The dining experience at Oniyama Hotel showcases the best of Oita’s seasonal ingredients and culinary traditions.
Dinner
Enjoy regional dishes that include Oita’s famous shima-aji (striped jack), tender Oita wagyu beef, and the local specialty—jigoku-mushi (hot spring steam cooking). These meals are served in the newly renovated dining room “Nagomi” or, depending on your plan, in your room. Premium options include Ise-ebi sashimi and luxurious seafood feasts.
Breakfast
Served buffet-style in the renovated dining room from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m., the breakfast includes over 50 dishes, blending Japanese and Western choices to suit every palate.
Onsen and Wellness
Oniyama Hotel draws its hot spring water directly from the nearby Oniyama Jigoku, one of Beppu’s famous “hells.” This 98°C natural source produces rich, milky-green mineral water that flows straight into the hotel’s large baths.
Large Public Baths
These baths include open-air sections where you can watch the steam rise while soaking in skin-softening waters. The baths are open from 3:00 p.m. to midnight and again from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the next day.
Soak at your own pace and let the water ease your body and mind.
