Overview
Kotori is a small traditional ryokan located in the historic Arima Onsen. It only has eight rooms, each themed around seasonal flowers.
Kotori caters to those seeking casual and genuine hospitality, focusing on fresh dishes and a serene setting.
Accommodation
Kotori features three types of rooms: a room with an open-air bath, five Japanese-style rooms, and two Western-style rooms. Each room is themed around different flowers and designed to create a tranquil environment. The “Mukudori” room, with its open-air Ginsen bath, offers a private hot spring experience, while the other rooms provide a traditional Japanese ambiance, perfect for unwinding.
Dining
Kotori offers a standard gourmet plan with local ingredients, as well as more specialized options, like the Japanese Black Beef Sukiyaki plan. The dishes are both delicious and visually appealing, showcasing the beauty of Japanese cuisine. Meals are served in the restaurant at Kotoriās sister hotel, Hanamusubi, just a short walk away.
Onsen & Wellness
Kotori offers access to the famous Ginsen hot spring, known for its healing properties, including improved circulation and muscle relaxation. As part of the stay, you also have access to the Kinsen hot spring at the sister hotel Hanamusubi. The private Ginsen baths at Kotori provide a peaceful and exclusive experience, allowing guests to soak in the therapeutic waters in a calm and serene environment.
