Gora Onsen Setsugekka Annex Suiun provides a refined retreat in the Gora area of Hakone. Designed for adults only, Suiun offers an exclusive getaway where you can connect with nature and experience the changing seasons. Accommodation

Rooms at Suiun are designed to highlight the natural surroundings of Hakone. All accommodations come with an open-air cypress hot spring bath, allowing you to unwind while surrounded by the fresh scent of wood. Rooms range from Japanese-style twin options to spacious family-friendly setups, all featuring serene views of the surrounding gardens or mountains.

Dining

Dining at Suiun is an immersive experience, featuring a banquet menu that changes with the seasons. You can enjoy dishes such as alfonsino shabu-shabu, served directly in your room for a more intimate atmosphere. The carefully selected seasonal ingredients provide a feast for the senses, with menus tailored to capture the essence of each time of year. Late-night ramen is also served in the lounge, perfect for a light meal before bedtime.

Onsen & Wellness

Suiun features an array of hot spring baths, including large communal baths and private open-air baths. The main baths, “Suiran-no-Yu” and “Suika-no-Yu,” are available for men and women and feature both indoor and semi-open-air spaces with cypress-scented water. For a more private experience, the inn offers three secluded baths, each with its own charm—a cypress bath, a rock bath, and a ceramic bath.

Guests with Tattoos

Guests with tattoos are welcome to use the private onsen facilities. For communal baths, tattoos must be covered with a waterproof seal. Please note that these seals are not provided by the inn.
