Overview

Kyoto Yunohana Onsen Suisen is a relaxing ryokan in the mountains of Kameoka, Kyoto. Suisen is located just 40 minutes from Kyoto and was created to provide a tranquil setting surrounded by nature. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy an authentic ryokan experience, with hot springs, Kyoto style kaiseki dinner and personalized hospitality. Suisen is a fairly small ryokan with only 13 rooms on site. Some come with private open air baths for your comfort and privacy.

Accommodation

Suisen offers 13 rooms across 7 types, designed to provide a luxurious experience for adults. Each room is furnished with high-quality beds, and some feature private open-air baths. The spaces are a blend of Japanese and Western styles.

Dining

Suisen specializes in seasonal Kyoto-style kaiseki meals, prepared with local ingredients and crafted to highlight the flavors of each season. Meals are served in private dining rooms, allowing you to enjoy their food in a quiet, intimate setting. The head chef also selects drinks, such as sake, shochu, and wine, to perfectly complement the dishes.

Onsen and Wellness

Suisen offers indoor and outdoor onsen experiences for both men and women. It draws its waters from the Yunohana Onsen. The hot springs are famous for their therapeutic qualities, helping to soothe muscle pain, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness.

You can also book a private open-air bath to enjoy the natural surroundings in complete privacy.

Spa Rakuran offers Ayurvedic treatments that complement the healing effects of the hot springs. These treatments use high-quality herbal oils to balance the body and mind, providing a deeply relaxing experience.

Guests with Tattoos

Suisen does not allow guests with tattoos to use the public baths, regardless of the tattoo’s purpose. This policy is in place to ensure the comfort of all visitors. However, you can rent a room with a private open air bath or you can book a private onsen for a short while.
