Dining

Meals at Yunosato Hayama focus on the local flavors of Bungo Oita. You can enjoy dinner in your room and breakfast in the dining hall. For groups of five or more, a private room is provided for both meals.

Dinner includes a seasonal multi-course meal crafted with local ingredients. Some of the popular dinner options are:

  • Tsubaki Kaiseki: Featuring Wagyu beef shabu-shabu and Beppu’s famous hell-steamed lobster.
  • Oita Wagyu Kaiseki: Enjoy the rich flavor of sirloin steak with traditional steamed dishes.
  • Sekilu Kaiseki: A combination of seki mackerel and other seafood with signature hell-steamed selections.

Children can enjoy a special menu with steak, fried shrimp, mini udon, and dessert.

If you want to enhance your meal, you can order extra dishes like sashimi platters, tempura, crown chicken, or Wagyu steak. Just remember to place these orders by the day before your stay.

Breakfast features local specialties such as:

  • Ryukyu (marinated fish over rice)
  • Hayama-style chicken tempura (toriten)
  • Bungo’s sweet flat noodles (yaseuma)
  • Steamed egg, miso soup, natto, and seasonal grilled fish

Onsen and Wellness
