About Todaya Ryoan

Todaya’s legacy began in 1830 as a kappo-style restaurant in Uji Furuichi and later grew into a historic inn welcoming pilgrims to Ise Jingu. In 1994, it was renewed as “Todaya Ryoan,” a refined space where you can savor traditional hospitality in a serene sukiya-style setting. The ryokan’s buildings and garden reflect centuries of craftsmanship and offer an atmosphere of quiet dignity and understated elegance.
