At Manyo Villa, the rooms feature elegant Japanese-style beds and forest views, perfect for two adults seeking a stylish retreat. Fushi Villa offers poet-themed rooms, including a special suite with a bath and two Western-style options. For a more traditional experience, Hakuo Villa provides tatami rooms designed to reflect old-world beauty. In the Colors of Japan Villa, four rooms represent classic Japanese colors like red, indigo, and plum. Forest Rabbit Villa includes large rooms for groups or families and a cozy gazebo for private relaxation.

Dining
Taste the seasons of Izu with original kaiseki meals crafted from local ingredients. Hanafubuki’s chefs prepare dinner at three distinct dining spaces: Hanazashiki, Unjo-tei, and Ryokuin-tei. You’ll enjoy your meal while looking out over gardens and forests, letting nature set the mood.
Dinner features the best of both sea and mountain. You might try sashimi made from rockfish, lobster grilled in its shell, or turban shell soup. You can request your seafood just how you like it—sashimi, miso soup, grilled, or even deep-fried. Advance booking is required for special dishes and wine pairings, including options like a bottle from your partner’s birth year.
Start your morning with a choice of three breakfast styles: Japanese grilled dried fish, a gentle brown rice porridge, or a Western plate with fresh bread. If you’re visiting just for lunch, try the seasonal mini kaiseki course, served with a view of the garden.
Onsen and Wellness
Explore nine private hot springs, all open 24 hours a day and all free-flowing from a natural source. You don’t need to make reservations—just find the bath that suits your mood and step in. Each bath has a unique style, from cedar fencing and cypress interiors to pottery-lined tubs and stone walkways.
Hinoki, for example, surrounds you with the aroma of cypress. Kuromojiyu features both indoor and outdoor options, while Sampayaterke and Fure Fure Isepo are tucked into Forest Rabbit Villa, combining Izu stone and Japanese cedar. In Manyo Villa, Hisakata and Nubatama offer two open-air baths each. At Fushi Villa, Oribeyu and Shinonoyu welcome you with handcrafted ceramic design.
The mineral-rich water contains sodium, calcium, chloride, and sulfate—known to ease neuralgia, joint pain, skin irritation, and more. Women especially enjoy the warmth of these waters, which also help improve circulation and keep skin soft.
If you’re just visiting for the day, you can still enjoy a private soak. Daytime baths are available from 11:00 to 14:00 for 1,800 yen, or 1,500 yen if you combine it with a lunch course.

You can enjoy every bath in privacy without restrictions. All onsen are reserved for individual use, so you’re free to relax with peace of mind regardless of your tattoos.

Hanafubuki also offers seasonal experiences tied to the forest. In early summer, the team extracts essential oil from the native kuromoji spicebush—a fragrant, slightly spicy aroma once used in traditional tea ceremonies. You can walk through groves filled with its scent or simply enjoy the view from your room.
Activities
Take a forest walk through the Red Rabbit Path, named for the wild rabbits that occasionally hop across your trail. Wander among cypress trees and spicebush, or stop to rest by a mossy stone bench.
