Accommodation

Every room at Tendo Hotel gives you a front-row seat to the seasonal colors of Yamagata. Choose the room that suits your travel style:

  • Japanese Style Room (Standard): A tatami room offering a calm, classic atmosphere. The space ranges from compact to slightly larger layouts, depending on your preference.
  • Japanese Style Room with Beds: Combines traditional design with Western comfort, featuring beds instead of futons. These rooms are spacious and ideal if you’re looking for a relaxed stay with less floor seating.
  • Premium Style Room: Located on the top floor, this Japanese-Western room offers generous space and scenic views. You can stretch out, enjoy the quiet, and savor the peaceful ambiance.
  • Accessible Room with Hot Spring: Designed with universal access in mind, this room includes a private bath with natural hot spring water.

Each room includes Wi-Fi, yukata, towels, toothbrush sets, shampoo, and other essentials. Combs, razors, and shower caps are available in the first-floor amenity corner.

Dining

Your stay includes a carefully prepared Japanese kaiseki dinner and a breakfast buffet. The chefs at Tendo Hotel highlight the best seasonal produce from Yamagata in every dish.

  • Dinner: Enjoy a multi-course kaiseki meal filled with dishes like simmered vegetables, sashimi, grilled items, and regional specialties. The menu changes with the seasons to reflect the freshest ingredients available.
  • Breakfast: The buffet includes Japanese, Western, and Chinese options. You’ll find local delicacies as well as hearty classics, giving you plenty of energy for the day ahead.

Dinner is served between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Breakfast is available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

Onsen and Wellness

Tendo Hotel’s large public bath includes both indoor and outdoor spaces. The highlight is the Waterfall Viewing Hot Spring, where you can soak while watching the flowing water and feeling the breeze. The facility also includes a sauna for deeper relaxation.

Public Bath Hours: 11:30 AM to midnight and again from 5:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

Sauna Hours: 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Guests with Tattoos

You are welcome to use the public baths freely, including the outdoor waterfall-view bath. No restrictions apply to tattoos.
