Dining
Dining at Mars Garden Wood Gotemba gives you several ways to enjoy the ingredients and flavors of the Fuji area. You can choose refined Kyoto-style kaiseki, teppanyaki, Italian cuisine, sweets at the café, or drinks at the bar, depending on your mood and meal plan.
Kyoto Kaiseki Ginmeisui serves seasonal Japanese cuisine with careful technique and presentation. Teppanyaki Ginmeisui focuses on premium ingredients such as Kuroge Wagyu, Kobe beef, spiny lobster, abalone, and fresh produce, prepared in front of you on the grill. Italian Fenice offers colorful Italian dishes using ingredients from the Fuji area, with garden views from the restaurant.
Breakfast is served as a Japanese set meal prepared by kaiseki chefs. You can enjoy gentle morning flavors, with the meal finishing in a comforting style with real wasabi and Shizuoka dashi poured over rice. A Western-style breakfast can also be arranged when you prefer it or during longer stays.
Onsen and Wellness
The natural hot spring at Mars Garden Wood Gotemba is drawn from 1,500 meters underground. The shared large bath uses weak alkaline hot spring water and includes indoor bathing, an open-air bath, a sauna, and a jet bath. The men’s bath area has a cold-water bath, while the women’s bath area has a dedicated footbath.
The large bath is open from 5:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 24:00. The water is associated with relief from neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, movement-related discomfort, bruises, sprains, chronic digestive concerns, sensitivity to cold, tiredness, and general health support.
Annex Deluxe Rooms and the Annex Special Room give you source-flowing natural hot spring bathing inside your own room. The garden footbath also uses source-flowing natural hot spring water, so you can warm your feet outside while enjoying sweets from the nearby café or taking a break during a garden walk.
Spa Laforet de Beaute offers body and facial treatments built around light, water, warmth, touch, and aroma. You can add spa time when you want deeper relaxation after travel, sightseeing, or a long day around Fuji and Hakone.

Mars Garden Wood Gotemba has shared public hot spring baths, so tattoos are not permitted in these bathing areas. Choose an Annex Deluxe Room or the Annex Special Room with a private source-flowing hot spring bath for a more comfortable stay.
