The November 2025 renewal added useful updates across all rooms, including a night panel by the bed with lighting switches, charging outlets, and an all-off switch, plus wall-mounted 50-inch TVs that make the desk area easier to use. The rooms also received refreshed desks, bedboards, wall coverings, and carpets.
The Single Room measures about 11 square meters and has one 120 cm bed. It works well when you travel alone and want a simple room close to the station. The Semi-Double Room also measures about 11 square meters and has one 120 cm bed, making it a compact choice for one person or two people who do not mind a smaller space. The Twin Room measures about 15 square meters and has two 110 cm beds, giving you separate sleeping space for two travelers.

The Japanese breakfast options include chicken grilled with miso or seasonal grilled fish, served with small side dishes and miso soup. The Western breakfast options include a chicken cutlet sandwich with fruit, salad, and soup, or zangi curry with fruit, salad, and soup. Takeaway breakfast is also available from 6:30 with advance reservation, which is useful when you need an early start.
Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00, with last order at 9:30. From July 1, 2026, breakfast costs 1,200 yen when booked in advance and 1,400 yen when ordered on the day. Child breakfast pricing is not available.
Onsen and Wellness
The natural hot spring bath, Genyo no Yu, is one of the best reasons to choose this hotel. The hot spring is the first natural hot spring to rise in Yachiyo City, and its black-brown water gives the bath a distinctive look and smooth feel. The spring is known for helping you warm up, ease fatigue, and refresh after travel or work.
The bath area is on the 2nd floor and includes a large indoor bath, open-air bath, and sauna. The spring quality is sodium bicarbonate and chloride spring water. The listed benefits include relief for nerve pain, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, movement-related stiffness, bruises, sprains, chronic digestive concerns, hemorrhoids, sensitivity to cold, recovery after illness, fatigue recovery, cuts, chronic skin concerns, and general health support.
The bath is open from 15:00 to 25:00 and again from 6:00 to 10:00. You can use it free of charge during your stay, but day-use bathing without a hotel stay is not available. The natural hot spring water is adjusted with added water, heating, circulation, and filtration.
Guests with Tattoos
APA Hotel Chiba Yachiyo Midorigaoka follows APA’s large-bath tattoo policy. You cannot enter the large public bath with tattoos unless your tattoos can be fully covered by APA’s designated tattoo cover seals. The cover seals measure 10 cm by 12 cm, and you can receive up to two seals per night at the front desk. If your tattoos cannot be fully covered by those seals, you cannot use the large public bath. There are no private hot spring baths at this hotel.
