Overview
ART HOTEL Narita gives you an easy airport-side stay with a real hot spring waiting on the property. You stay close to Narita International Airport, yet the hotel feels more open and restful than a simple transit stop. Trees, garden paths, wide indoor spaces, and the quiet setting around the building help you slow down before or after a flight.
This is a good choice when you want convenience without giving up the pleasure of bathing. You can arrive by free shuttle from Narita Airport or JR Narita Station, check in, leave your luggage behind, and head straight for Narita Hot Spring Biyu. The hotel works well for one night before a flight, a longer stopover, or a short Chiba stay with easy access to Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple and the Narita area.
Accommodation
You can choose from 490 rooms, giving you plenty of flexibility for solo travel, business trips, family stays, and longer stopovers. Room types include standard, comfort, superior, deluxe, family, universal, and suite-style options, depending on your plan and booking date.
The rooms are practical and easy to settle into. You have space to open luggage, rest between flights, or spend a quieter evening indoors before travel the next morning. Many rooms include simple, clean layouts with beds, a private bathroom, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, so you can recharge without needing much else.
If you want a short and simple stay, standard or comfort rooms keep things efficient. If you want more room for luggage or time indoors, deluxe rooms, family rooms, and suites give you a more spacious layout. Universal room options are also available when easier movement matters.
Dining
Dining at ART HOTEL Narita gives you more choice than you might expect from an airport-area hotel. NARITA BOLD KITCHEN is the main all-day dining restaurant and follows a “Farm to Table” concept, using fresh vegetables, meat, and seafood from Chiba Prefecture. Lunch and dinner offer around 80 items, with Japanese, Western, and international flavors served in a large, open restaurant.
Breakfast starts early, which helps when you have a morning flight or a full sightseeing day ahead. The buffet includes Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, along with live-kitchen items. You can enjoy freshly prepared omelets, baguette French toast, handmade tofu with Chiba Shimosa soy sauce, local strawberry jam, salads, breads, warm dishes, rice, miso soup, grilled fish, Chinese-style items, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, and juices. Sunday and holiday mornings may also include a dessert-focused breakfast feature.
For a different mood, Japanese–Chinese Cuisine Soh serves à la carte Japanese and Chinese dishes with a focus on local ingredients. The menu includes both familiar classics and original dishes, making it a good choice when you want a calmer dinner after bathing. In warmer months, Garden BBQ also adds an outdoor dining option in the hotel garden.
Onsen and Wellness
Narita Hot Spring Biyu is the feature that makes this hotel stand out. The natural hot spring comes from a private source about 1,000 meters underground. The water is a golden-colored sodium-chloride spring, known for holding warmth well and helping your body stay warm after bathing.
The bath area gives you several ways to unwind. You can enjoy indoor baths, open-air baths, rock baths, reclining baths, and saunas. The women’s side also includes a mist sauna and herbal bath, creating a softer bathing experience after long travel or sightseeing.
This hot spring feels especially welcome before or after a flight. You can soak away travel stiffness, warm your body, rest, and return to your room feeling more settled. Day-use bathing is also available, so you can enjoy the hot spring even when you are not staying overnight.
Please note that individual bath features may be affected by temporary maintenance, so it is best to check the latest facility notices before your stay if a specific bath or sauna matters to you.
Guests with tattoos
Narita Hot Spring Biyu does not allow tattoos in the bathing area. If you have tattoos, you should not plan to use the public hot spring baths.
Facilities
ART HOTEL Narita supports both short stopovers and longer stays with practical facilities across the property. You can use the 24-hour FamilyMart convenience store on the second floor of the main building, the coin laundry on the first floor of the Garden Wing, and laundry service through the front desk. A fitness gym is available for overnight stays, and relaxation treatments are offered in the Garden Wing.
The Forest Garden spreads across the front courtyard and gives you a pleasant place to walk, breathe, and enjoy greenery between travel plans. The Garden Terrace offers another open space to sit and slow down. During the summer season, the garden is also used for barbecue dining.
The hotel also has restaurants, banquet and meeting rooms, wedding facilities, a smoking area, Wi-Fi, free shuttle buses, and on-site services that help with airport stays.
Activities
You can enjoy the hotel itself without rushing anywhere. Soak in the hot spring, rest in your room, take a walk through the Forest Garden, use the gym, book a relaxation treatment, or spend the evening over dinner at NARITA BOLD KITCHEN or Soh.
If you want to explore, Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple is one of the best nearby choices. You can visit the temple grounds, walk along Narita Omotesando, try local food, and return to the hotel for a bath before your next flight. The hotel also works well for short outings around Narita, airport-area shopping, and relaxed sightseeing before departure.
The free shuttle makes the stay feel smoother. You can travel between the hotel, Narita Airport, and JR Narita Station without arranging a taxi, which is especially helpful when you have luggage or a tight flight schedule.
