Overview

Atami Diamond Yuu – Atami Main Building gives you a private seaside villa stay in Ajiro, in the southern part of Atami. You stay at 546-15 Ajiro, with open views toward the sea and a full private rental setup limited to one group per day. This is not a small ryokan with shared spaces, set meals, and public baths. You come here for a private house-style stay where you can enjoy the ocean view, natural hot spring bath, heated pool, BBQ, fire pit, mini sauna, and spacious indoor areas with the people you travel with.

The villa suits you when you want freedom and privacy near the coast. You can spend the day inside the house, move between the bath, pool, terrace, kitchen, living room, and play spaces, or use it as a base for exploring Ajiro and Atami. The atmosphere feels casual, spacious, and group-friendly, making it a good choice for families, friends, celebrations, workations, and relaxed coastal escapes.

Accommodation

You stay in one full private villa with space for up to 14 people. The house includes a spacious living area, dining space, kitchen, multiple sleeping areas, a children’s play space, and a second-floor dome tent area where you can enjoy a camping-style feeling indoors. The layout works well when you want everyone together under one roof, without booking separate rooms or moving through shared hotel spaces.

Inside, you have a large TV with Netflix and YouTube support, a projector, free Wi-Fi, kitchen equipment, and enough room for both group time and quiet moments. The living and dining areas give you space to eat, talk, watch movies, and relax after bathing or BBQ. For families, the villa includes child-friendly touches such as a kids’ play area, baby bed, baby chair, and children’s tableware.

The dome tent on the second floor adds a playful extra space. You can use it for a camping mood without leaving the house, then settle in for movies or relaxed time in the evening. Please note that the clear vinyl part of the dome tent has aged, so visibility may not be as clear as in newer installations.

Dining

Atami Diamond Yuu is a self-catering villa, so meals are not prepared as part of a ryokan-style dining service. You can bring ingredients, cook in the kitchen, or enjoy BBQ on the terrace while looking toward the sea. This gives you full control over mealtimes, menu choices, and the pace of your stay.

The kitchen includes cooking tools, tableware, refrigerator, microwave, IH cooktop, oven, and electric kettle, so you can prepare simple meals or full group dinners. BBQ equipment is available, and you should use the equipment provided on site rather than bringing your own. The BBQ setup uses a gas type and includes useful items such as tongs, spatula, fork, and seasonings such as salt and pepper.

For a more outdoor-style evening, you can also use the fire pit. A free bundle of firewood may be included during the current campaign, with extra firewood available for an added fee. You can enjoy the fire pit and BBQ atmosphere, but fireworks are not allowed, and outdoor terrace use should stop after 10:00 PM so the surrounding area stays quiet.

Onsen and Wellness

The villa includes a private natural hot spring bath, allowing you to enjoy Atami-style bathing without sharing the space with another group. You can soak at your own pace, return to the bath after dinner, or start the morning with warm water before heading out along the coast.

The wellness setup also includes a heated pool, foot bath, and a one-person mini sauna beside the indoor bath. The heated pool and foot bath may require additional fees, and the pool is stopped during the winter period from December 15 to March 31. When you use the pool or foot bath, you fill them yourself after arrival, with the pool taking around 40 to 50 minutes to fill and the foot bath taking around 20 to 30 minutes.

This private setup lets you enjoy the water, sauna, and sea view in a flexible way. You can move from the bath to the mini sauna, cool down, sit outside, or spend time by the pool in swimwear. The experience feels more like a private resort house than a traditional public onsen.

If You Have Tattoos

If you have tattoos, you can use the private bath, mini sauna, pool, and foot bath inside your own rental space. You do not need to enter a shared public bath, so you can enjoy bathing and wellness time comfortably with your own group.

Parking is available for up to 3 cars, and a fourth car may be discussed in advance. The villa is non-smoking indoors, while outdoor smoking space is available. Pets are not allowed. You should take off your shoes at the entrance, and you should keep noise low after 10:00 PM. Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

Activities

You can enjoy most of your stay without leaving the villa. Spend the afternoon in the heated pool, soak in the private hot spring bath, use the mini sauna, cook together, enjoy BBQ on the terrace, gather around the fire pit, watch movies on the large screen, or let children enjoy the play space while adults relax nearby. Karaoke equipment is also available, with use allowed from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and volume limited for neighborhood comfort.

When you want to explore, Ajiro and Atami place you close to coastal drives, seafood restaurants, local shops, and popular Atami attractions. Nearby places include ACAO FOREST, Ito Marine Town, Atami Trick Art Museum, Kiunkaku, Kinomiya Shrine, and Atami Castle. You can also enjoy local seafood nearby, with dining spots and food shops within driving distance.

By train, the nearest station is JR Ajiro Station, with the villa about 7 minutes away by taxi. From Atami Station, the taxi ride takes about 25 minutes. This villa suits you when you want to stay close to the sea, enjoy private water spaces, and spend unhurried time with your group in South Atami.
