Dining
Every meal at Ginsyou is designed to be memorable. Meals are served at private-style tables that feature a unique twist—natural hot spring water flows from the center of each table.
Hot Spring Table Experience
This one-of-a-kind setup lets you heat sake, cook soft-boiled eggs, or just enjoy the soft steam as you eat. The natural warmth and aroma of the spring water surround you as you dine.
Freshly Fried Satsuma-age
Each evening includes piping-hot satsuma-age, a local delicacy made from fish paste, fried right in front of you. Dip it in the house-made black vinegar sauce for the full flavor.
Seasonal Kaiseki
Enjoy colorful multi-course meals made with Kagoshima’s best ingredients—black pork, local wagyu, fresh vegetables, and coastal seafood. Meals change with the seasons to showcase regional specialties.
Breakfast
Start the day with a warming bowl of satsuma-jiru, a hearty local soup made with chicken and vegetables. Breakfast also includes steamed vegetables and hot tofu, designed to gently wake your body.
If you have any food allergies, let the ryokan know at least three days in advance. Please be aware that they may not be able to accommodate requests made on the day of your arrival.
Onsen and Wellness
Ginsyou offers three types of bathing experiences, each with its own character:
Tenku Open-Air Bath
Located on the ninth floor, this rooftop bath gives you the feeling of floating in the sky. Watch the sea stretch out before you, with the changing light of dawn, daylight, and night offering different moods throughout the day.

Private Open-Air Baths
Choose from three rooms named Sky, Stars, and Sea. These baths on the ninth floor offer full privacy and sweeping views of Kinko Bay. You can reserve a 50-minute session after check-in.
Reservation Hours: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Maximum of 3 adults (junior high and older) per room.
Second Floor Large Bath
This indoor and outdoor bath overlooks the sea. Soak in mineral-rich spring water while listening to the waves. The water contains metasilicic acid, known for its skin-smoothing properties.
