Onsen & Wellness

The Ibusuki Syusuien ryokan has a large indoor communal bath as well as an oopen air bath. The water is a sodium chloride spring and sourced from the geothermal activity beneath the area.

If you are after a more intimate experience, you can reserve the private onsen with Japanese and Western styles. This is an especially good idea if you have tattoos and want to enjoy the onsen on site.

One of the most interesting spa features is that Ibusuki Syusuien is close to the original Sand Bath facility, which is unique to the region.
