Onsen and wellness
Monzen no Yu uses natural hot spring water drawn from approximately 1,500 metres underground. The water is filtered, but no tap water is added.
The spring is classified as a sodium-chloride hot spring. Its smooth texture and heat-retaining character make it especially enjoyable after a long journey or a cold day outdoors.
Bathing hours run from 6:30 to midnight, with final admission at 23:30. You can use the baths and saunas freely during these hours as part of your accommodation.
The bathing facilities include high- and low-temperature saunas. The women’s bathing area also includes a salt sauna. Sauna access begins at 8:00.
Take the wristband provided at check-in when using the hot spring facilities.
Guests with tattoos
Tattoos are not accepted in the shared hot spring or sauna facilities. The hotel does not offer a private bathing area.
