Overview

Hotel Route-Inn Grand Fukushima Ekimae Higashiguchi is a city hot spring hotel near JR Fukushima Station. It opened on February 16, 2025, and gives you a practical base for business, train travel, and Fukushima sightseeing. You stay with a natural hot spring large bath, sauna, breakfast buffet, evening restaurant, coin laundry, Wi-Fi, and 24-hour front desk support in one building.

The hotel works well when you want easy station access and a place to reset at the end of the day. After meetings, sightseeing, or a long train ride, you can return for a soak in Tabibito no Yu, check bath and breakfast crowding from your room TV, and enjoy dinner at BiKuRa without leaving the property.

Accommodation

You can choose from Single, Semi-Double, Double, Twin, Deluxe Twin, and Open Single/Twin rooms. Single rooms are compact and efficient, with a 130 cm bed, Wi-Fi, LCD TV, humidifying air purifier, and VOD room theater. Semi-Double rooms use a 140 cm bed, while Double rooms use a 160 cm bed, making them useful when you want a little more bed space without moving into a twin layout. Some rooms are reserved for heated tobacco only, and paper cigarettes cannot be used in those rooms.

Twin rooms give you two beds and more floor space, while Deluxe Twin rooms add the widest standard layout, two beds, Wi-Fi, a 50-inch LCD TV, and a humidifying air purifier. The Open Single/Twin room has fewer steps inside, a wider entrance, a sliding bath and toilet door, handrails, and enough unit-bath space for wheelchair movement. It can be used as a single or twin room and is prioritized for you when easier access matters.

In your room, you have Wi-Fi, warm-water washing toilet, unit bath, TV, refrigerator, phone, humidifying air purifier, VOD room theater, NHK BS, kids’ channel, and WOWOW. Amenities include body soap, shampoo, conditioner, body sponge, foam soap, toothbrush, comb, razor, cotton swabs, paper slippers, green tea, black tea, kettle, tumbler, towels, bath mat, shoehorn, slippers, hangers, hair dryer, and jinbei roomwear.

Dining

Breakfast is served at BiKuRa as a Japanese and Western buffet. You can start the day with warm dishes, rice, bread, and freshly baked items such as butter croissants, mini mocha swirl Danish, and European-style breads served on rotation. You can also use the restaurant in jinbei roomwear, so breakfast stays easy and relaxed before work or sightseeing.

In the evening, BiKuRa becomes a casual dinner restaurant. The signature dish is slow-cooked spare ribs, and the menu also includes hamburg steak, diced beef steak, Joshu shamo chicken meatballs, spiced chicken wings, Japanese dishes, and small plates that pair well with drinks. Dinner service runs in the evening and closes on Sundays and public holidays.

Onsen and Wellness

The large public bath is Tabibito no Yu, using natural hot spring water from the Tsuchiyu Onsen source. The water is an alkaline simple hot spring, with listed benefits for chronic muscle and joint pain, stiffness, sensitivity to cold, peripheral circulation, digestive function, mild high blood pressure, diabetes, mild asthma or pulmonary concerns, hemorrhoid pain, stress-related symptoms, fatigue recovery, and health promotion.

You can use the bath from afternoon to late night and again in the morning, which helps if you arrive late or leave early. Both men’s and women’s bathing areas include saunas. The women’s bath has a shampoo bar, ReFa Fine Bubble U shower heads, and ReFa hair dryers in the vanity area. The bath water is heated, diluted with added water, and circulated through filtration.

Bath amenities include body soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, milky lotion, cotton swabs, tissues, scale, and hair dryer. The women’s bath also has cleansing oil, brush, and cotton, while the men’s bath includes shaving foam, comb, and razor. You can check the public bath, breakfast venue, and coin laundry crowding from your room TV.

Guests with Tattoos

If you have tattoos, you can use the public bath only when the tattoo is fully covered with a cover seal. Route-Inn’s general bath guidance lists cover seals at the front desk, with a size of 11.4 cm × 20 cm.
