Signature offerings often include spiny lobster sashimi, simmered golden eye snapper, grilled turban shell, abalone, and tender wagyu beef. Seasonal a la carte dishes are also available when ordered in advance.
Breakfast is a traditional Japanese spread featuring local specialties, freshly grilled dried fish, hot miso soup, and small side dishes that pair perfectly with steamed rice. It’s a gentle and satisfying start to your day.
Onsen and Wellness
Atagawa Onsen is known for its abundant natural hot spring water and its smooth, skin-friendly quality. According to legend, the spring was discovered in the 15th century when a warrior saw a monkey bathing in warm water to heal its wounds.
YUBANA MANKAI offers six private baths for exclusive use:
- Three Chartered Open-Air Baths (“Daimonji,” “Amaterasu,” “Seigetsu”) each with symbolic guardian deities and blessings.
- Three Chartered Indoor Baths (“Nodoka,” “Sakura,” “Nanohana,” “Ajisai”) each with its own floral or seasonal theme.
All baths are free to use, require no reservation, and are filled directly from the natural hot spring source.
Private baths ensure that guests with tattoos can relax and enjoy the hot spring without concern.
