Prostyle Ryokan is a ryokan located in the traditional neighborhood of Asakusa, in Tokyo.
Prostyle Ryokan is distinguished by its exclusive “full Shitamachi experience” concept, where you will enjoy traditional Japanese accommodation with the luxury of a private open air onsen. Prostyle Ryokan has a stone onsen bath for soaking.
Accommodation
Prostyle Ryokan has six distinct room types, all designed with tatami flooring. There are corner suites with stunning views of the Tokyo Skytree and private open-air baths, as well as cozy double rooms that reinterpret Japanese aesthetics with modern touches.
Dining
Prostyle Ryokan has a great on-site restaurant, led by Nikuan Otakino from Shirokane, Tokyo. The cuisine here specializes in dishes like beef tongue shabu and Kuroge Wagyu beef hotpot.
Start their day with a Japanese or Western breakfast, with local specialties such as Asakusa yuba and tsukudani.
Onsen & Wellness
Prostyle Ryokan’s standout feature is its private onsen, which is available in the Re-Hanare guest rooms.
After enjoying the heat of the hot bath, it’s best to relax in the low-type double beds. There are also rooms with private open air bath available.
Please note that the onsen here is not hot spring water as there are no natural hot springs in Asakusa, Tokyo.
