Atami is known as the gateway to the Izu Peninsula, with a warm climate, long hot spring history, and easy access from Tokyo. Here, you can enjoy a simple seaside stay with Atami Onsen water supplied to every room bath 24 hours a day, shared large baths, Japanese meals by advance reservation, and a relaxed base for exploring the town.
Accommodation
Wisterian Life Club Atami has 54 rooms across three main room types. The 34-square-meter Japanese-Western rooms include twin beds and a 4.5-tatami Japanese space, giving you both bed comfort and room to sit on tatami. The larger 63-square-meter Japanese-Western rooms include twin beds, a 6-tatami Japanese space, and a sofa area, making them useful when you want more room to relax. The 34-square-meter Western rooms include twin beds and a sofa area for a simple seaside stay.
Every room has a unit bath supplied with Atami Onsen water, so you can enjoy hot spring bathing privately in your room at any time. Rooms also include Wi-Fi, a kettle, and the basic items you need for a comfortable stay.
Dining
Meals are available by advance reservation. Dinner is Japanese-style set dining, with plans such as Wafuzen Nagisa, Wafuzen Atami, Wafuzen Hatsukawa, and Wafuzen Izu. Depending on the plan, you can enjoy dishes such as horse mackerel sashimi, tempura, seasonal grilled dishes, fried horse mackerel, live abalone, red snow crab, wagyu beef cooked on a ceramic plate, golden-eye snapper simmered in sauce, sushi, and seafood sashimi.
Dinner is served at 18:00, so arrive in time when you book a dinner-included stay. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:00 and includes Japanese breakfast options, with a children’s breakfast also available. Meal content may change depending on ingredient supply, and food allergies should be shared when booking.
Onsen and Wellness
Wisterian Life Club Atami has its own artesian hot spring source and supplies hot spring water to the shared large baths and all room baths. The two shared large baths are Kanichi no Yu and Omiya no Yu, both using Atami Onsen water. The spring quality is a calcium and sodium chloride spring, associated with relief from rheumatic concerns, movement-related discomfort, and menopausal symptoms.
The shared large baths are open from 6:00 to 10:00 and from 15:00 to 24:00. Your in-room unit bath also uses hot spring water, so you can enjoy a private soak whenever you want without leaving your room.
Guests with Tattoos
Wisterian Life Club Atami does not allow tattoos in the shared large baths or the outdoor pool. Every room has a private unit bath supplied with Atami Onsen water, so use your in-room hot spring bath instead.
Facilities
Wisterian Life Club Atami has shared large hot spring baths, an outdoor pool during summer, a karaoke room, automatic mahjong rooms, go and shogi rental, a restaurant by advance reservation, Wi-Fi, and parking. Alcohol is not sold inside the building, but drinks can be ordered during meals at the restaurant. You can also bring your own drinks and use nearby shops during your stay.
Activities
You can use the property as a base for enjoying Atami’s sea, hot spring town atmosphere, and nearby sightseeing. Atami Station is about 10 minutes away on foot, and you can also reach the property by bus from the station. From the hotel, you can visit the waterfront, Atami Port, local restaurants, shopping streets, and seasonal events such as the Atami fireworks.
You can also plan short trips to Hatsushima, Kinomiya Shrine, MOA Museum of Art, or other sights around Atami and the Izu Peninsula. After time outside, you can return to your room for a private hot spring bath with the ocean close by.
