Accommodation

Fukuichi offers a range of rooms across several wings—all non‑smoking—to suit your preferences:

  • VIP Room (Senju‑kan): Perched on the highest floor, this suite features two traditional Japanese rooms, a living area with sofa, and sweeping mountain views—sometimes even a sea of clouds.
  • Mixed‑Style Room (Manyo‑kan): Combines a tatami-floored Japanese room with a Western-style bedroom and living area. Four rooms offer a spacious, home-like ambiance.
  • Adjoining Room (Manyo‑kan): Two Japanese rooms with flexible layouts—perfect for families or groups.
  • Japanese Modern‑Style Room (Manyo‑kan): Introduced in 2017, these rooms feature Ryukyu-style tatami and individualized interiors, each offering unique seasonal views.
  • Green Garden Room (Senju‑kan): Featuring a private Japanese-style garden and outdoor sandals, this is a serene retreat surrounded by fresh mountain air.
  • Standard Japanese-Style Room (Senju‑kan): Approximately 23 m² with tatami flooring, either overlooking mountains or Ikaho’s stone steps—ideal for couples or small families.
  • Two‑Bed Room (Kotohogi‑kan): A 22 m² wood-themed room with two beds and a cozy living area, framed by mountain vistas.
  • Double‑Bed Room (Kotohogi‑kan): A compact area with a double bed and living space, perfect for two.

All rooms include bath/shower with washlet toilet, vanity, air conditioning, mini-refrigerator, TV, safe, toiletries, hairdryer, yukata, and electric kettle.

Dining

Fukuichi highlights Gunma’s seasonal bounty in its cuisine. You’ll enjoy multi-course dinners crafted around locally grown vegetables and Joshu Mochi-buta pork. The head chef selects Koshihikari rice from Niigata and other premium varieties for dinner and buffet breakfasts. Choose from multiple dining venues—from traditional halls to private rooms—each tailored to your schedule and dining style.

Onsen and Wellness

Fukuichi is one of the few ryokans in Ikaho offering both Golden and Silver springs:

  • Golden Spring: A historic, pleasantly colored thermal water.
  • Silver Spring: Clear, colorless, and incredibly gentle on the skin.

Large Bathing Facilities Fuku no Yu (Men) and Ichi no Yu (Women) on the 3rd floor: each has indoor, open-air, and granite baths fed by continuous thermal flow, as well as sauna amenities and a shampoo bar with 20+ options in the women’s section.

Private Ion Baths On the 6th floor, choose from three reserved baths with negative ion-enhanced spaces:

  • Yurari – ideal for larger groups
  • Fuwari – exclusively uses Golden Water
  • Sarari – a smaller, tranquil ion bath

Note: Bookings are required for private baths.
