Daiichi Takimotokan is a stunning ryokan located in Noboribetsu Onsen, Hokkaido. It features five different types of hot springs and luxury rooms with open air hot spring baths.
Accommodation
Daiichi Takimotokan has Japanese style rooms, fusion rooms and luxury rooms with open-air hot spring baths sourced from Noboribetsu Onsen.
Their most premium room is the West Wing Corner Special Room which is a whooping 61m² and comes with a natural private onsen, as well as stunning views of Jigokudani.
The Japanese-Western style rooms are large and come with panoramic views while the Japanese style rooms are all with tatami, futons and either forest or town views.

Dining
You are in control of your own dinner while staying at the Daiichi Takimotokan. Have dinner in your own room for privacy or head to restaurant Yunosato for an open kitchen experience. There is also the buffet dining at Primeval Forest/Snow Country.

Daiichi Takimotokan is famous for its hot spring and it has five different types of onsen.
- The Sulfur Spring is an effective treatment for persistent skin conditions.
- Glaubers Salt Spring helps to lower blood pressure and heal wounds.
- The acidic green spring acid is beneficial for atopic dermatitis.
- The salt spring is known to warm the body and improve circulation.
- Baking soda springs are known to smooth the skin and are commonly referred to as “beauty springs.”
There are three types of sauna onsite too. A dry sauna, a mist sauna and a cold bath with spring waters at 12°C and 30°C.
Don’t forget the 35 Baths. They are big and varied, and the “yumori” keep the hot spring water good.
There are specialty bathing suits, designed for people with scars from surgery.
