- Kue (Longtooth Grouper) – A prized winter delicacy.
- Tachiuo (Cutlassfish) – Served as sashimi, tempura, or vinegared.
- Ashikaebi (Red Shrimp) – A local favorite with a rich, plump texture.
- Kumano Beef – Featured in seasonal kaiseki courses.
- Gray Mullet and Shirasu (Young Sardines) – Served steamed and tender.
Start your day with a traditional Japanese breakfast, featuring local specialties like ash-dried sanma (mackerel pike), a regional delicacy packed with flavor.
Onsen and Wellness
Relax in the Hanafuri Bath, where floor-to-ceiling views of the Kitan Strait and Awaji Island give you front-row seats to one of Japan’s “Top 100 Sunsets.”
The public bath includes both indoor and open-air tubs, each with warm, silky-smooth water. Feel the elements—ocean breeze, golden sunlight, and the scent of the tide—calm your mind and body.
Facilities: Shampoos, conditioners, body soap, face wash, cotton swabs, dryers, and more
Note: There are four steps to reach the baths. There are no private baths available.
The hot spring water comes from the base of Mount Ryumon, known as “Kishu Fuji,” and is famous for its skin-soothing properties and deep-heat effect.
