For quiet time with your partner or family, you can use the private hinoki bath at no charge. Just reserve it at check-in. Each family gets up to 40 minutes until midnight, and the warm scent of hinoki wood makes the experience even more relaxing.

You can also use the complimentary shuttle from Izukyu Shimoda Station, available daily from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Be sure to reserve your seat in advance.

Hotel Yamadaya is easy to reach from major stations. From Tokyo, you can take the Shinkansen to Atami, transfer to the local Izukyu Line, and arrive in Shimoda in about 2 hours and 20 minutes. The shuttle meets you at the station and brings you directly to the hotel.
