Overview

Oyado Tamaki is a traditional Japanese ryokan in the Ikaho Onsen area. The area is very famos for its Golden Hot Springs and Silver Hot Springs.

Oyado Tamaki is located at the entrance to the 400-year-old Ikaho Stone Steps. The moment you enter, you will be welcomed by exceptional Japanese Omotenashi.

The rooms at the Oyado Tamaki ryokan are all named after the whispering trees of the Ikaho mountains. And of course, no stay at the Oyado Tamaki would be complete without mentioning the cuisine, each dish handcrafted and selected by the head chef.

Accommodation

The rooms in Oyado Tamaki are all named after the trees in the local mountains. One of the most beautiful ideas that call to those who truly love nature.

Some of the rooms are standard traditional Japanese rooms with tatami and futons. Others come with luxury private open-air baths for a more intimate experience.

Certain rooms come with open-air baths made of Shigaraki ware, a unique pottery style. If you decide to visit with your family, there is a spacious family room available too.

Dining

At Oyado Tamaki the highlight of the meal is all about celebrating the seasons. The dinner menu has fresh locally sourced ingredients. Not only the dishes are special, but they are all served in carefully chosen tableware to ensure you eat with your eyes first.

The breakfast at Oyado Tamaki is a Japanese style meal with millet porridge and yuba tofu. The ryokan’s philosophy is that each meal should be a memorable part of your stay.
