Overview

Route-Inn Grantia Komatsu Airport gives you a practical hotel stay in Komatsu, Ishikawa, close to Komatsu Airport, JR Komatsu Station, and the Hokuriku Expressway Komatsu Interchange. This works well when you want easy access by car, plane, or train, with natural hot spring bathing and dining available inside the property.

The hotel combines business-hotel convenience with larger resort-style features. You can stay in the Main Building or Biz Court, choose from compact rooms, Japanese rooms, larger family-friendly layouts, suites, and barrier-free rooms, then unwind in the natural hot spring bath, Ataka no Yu. A two-storey golf practice range, banquet spaces, meeting rooms, restaurant, and parking area make the hotel useful for short stays, work trips, group travel, and local sightseeing.

The location places you within easy reach of Komatsu Airport and nearby attractions such as the Hideki Matsui Baseball Museum, the Motorcar Museum of Japan, and Yunokuni no Mori, where you can try traditional craft experiences.

Accommodation

You can choose from several room types across the Main Building and Biz Court. The Main Building single room measures 18.7 square metres and includes a 110-centimetre bed, while the Biz Court single room measures 14 square metres and includes a wider 130-centimetre bed. Both give you a desk area, making them practical when you need space to work or plan your day.

Twin rooms are available in both buildings. The Main Building twin measures 20.1 square metres, while the Biz Court twin measures 18.5 square metres. Each gives you two beds and a simple layout for sharing. The Biz Court semi-double room measures 14 square metres and has a 130-centimetre bed, making it a compact choice when you want a slightly wider bed.

The Japanese-style room in the Main Building has ten tatami mats and can accommodate up to four people. This room does not include a unit bath, so you use the large public bath or the shared facilities inside the hotel. The Japanese-Western room measures 51.7 square metres and combines an eight-tatami Japanese area with two beds, making it a comfortable choice when you want both tatami space and Western bedding.

The suite measures 50.1 square metres and includes a sofa set, a large television, and a spacious layout suited to a more relaxed stay. Barrier-free rooms are available in both the Main Building and Biz Court, with wider entrances and bathrooms designed for easier movement.

Room equipment includes Wi-Fi, wired LAN, a television, refrigerator, telephone, air purifier, warm-water washing toilet, kettle, tea set, glasses, slippers, towels, hairdryer, toothbrush, comb, razor, body soap, rinse-in shampoo, and jinbei-style roomwear. Selected Main Building rooms also list Airweave bedding.

Dining

Shunsai Dining Nagomi serves breakfast and dinner inside the hotel. Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet with dishes such as grilled fish, egg dishes, sausages, warm vegetables, salad, rice, soup, and freshly baked bread. The restaurant has an in-house bread workshop that prepares items such as croissants and Danish rolls, with the exact selection changing by day.

Dinner offers a casual Japanese dining style with sashimi, seafood salad, grilled fish, meat dishes, pasta, sushi, rice dishes, desserts, and local sake. Example dishes include today’s sashimi, seafood salad, saikyo-yaki fish, dried grilled fish, homemade spare ribs, sausages, kushikatsu, Komatsu udon, and grilled-meat pilaf.

Breakfast is served in the morning, while dinner is served in the evening and is normally closed on Sunday and Monday. Meal availability may depend on your stay plan and the restaurant schedule.

Onsen and Wellness

The natural hot spring bath, Ataka no Yu, looks towards the sacred Mount Hakusan and uses free-flowing source water. The water is classified as a chloride spring and has a pale yellow, clear appearance. It feels gentle on the skin and warms the body well after travel, work, or sightseeing.

The listed bathing qualities include support for neuralgia, muscle discomfort, joint discomfort, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, chronic digestive concerns, chronic women’s health concerns, sensitivity to cold, recovery after illness, general health promotion, cuts, and burns.

Ataka no Yu has large shared public bathing facilities and changing rooms. Bath amenities include body soap, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, emulsion, cotton buds, tissues, hairdryers, and other items, with some products differing between the men’s and women’s areas.

The baths are available for overnight stays from the afternoon until late night and again in the early morning. Day-use bathing is also offered during set hours. No private hot spring bath is listed.

Guests with Tattoos

Route-Inn Group does not allow use of the shared public baths when you have tattoos. You can use the shared bath only when your tattoo can be fully covered with one tattoo cover seal. Route-Inn Grantia Komatsu Airport does not list a private hot spring bath.

Facilities

Route-Inn Grantia Komatsu Airport includes Shunsai Dining Nagomi, Ataka no Yu natural hot spring bath, banquet halls, meeting rooms, a Japanese-style banquet room, a two-storey golf practice range with 52 bays and night lighting, vending facilities, coin laundry, copy and fax services, Wi-Fi, wired LAN, WOWOW viewing in rooms, and parking for standard vehicles. Electric vehicle charging is also available through the hotel’s current system.

The banquet and meeting spaces include Kyoka, Saisei, Chiyome, Kutani, and Yuzen. These rooms support meetings, exhibitions, banquets, memorial gatherings, and group events. Meeting-room Wi-Fi is available, and a reservation-required shuttle can be arranged for eligible group use.

The golf practice range sits on site, making it easy to add light practice before or after your main plans. Opening times and maintenance schedules may change, so the facility is best treated as a convenient extra rather than the only reason for your stay.

Activities

You can use the hotel as a base for Komatsu and the surrounding Kaga area. The Hideki Matsui Baseball Museum is close by and introduces the life and career of one of Ishikawa’s best-known baseball players. The Motorcar Museum of Japan displays a large collection of vehicles and gives you an easy indoor outing within driving distance.

Yunokuni no Mori offers traditional craft experiences, including pottery, painting, papermaking, and other hands-on activities. This works well when you want to bring home something more personal than a standard souvenir.

The hotel’s location also places you close to Komatsu Airport and road connections for wider travel through Ishikawa. You can continue toward Kanazawa, the Kaga Onsen area, or the Hokuriku region depending on your route.

Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is by 10:00 a.m. The hotel is around five minutes by car from Komatsu Airport and around seven minutes by car from JR Komatsu Station. The Hokuriku Expressway Komatsu Interchange is around 500 metres away, making arrival by car especially simple.
