Dining
Breakfast at Dormy Inn PREMIUM Nagoya Sakae gives you a strong taste of Nagoya. The buffet includes Dormy Inn’s Japanese and Western breakfast selection, small seasonal dishes from Kobachi Yokocho, freshly prepared egg dishes, and local specialties.
The highlight is hitsumabushi, Nagoya’s well-known grilled eel rice dish. You can enjoy it plain first, then add toppings such as green onion, and finish it with broth for an ochazuke-style bowl. Doteni is another local dish served at breakfast, made with red miso and rich, slow-cooked meat flavors. Together, these dishes help you start the day with a real sense of place.
Breakfast is served at the 2nd-floor restaurant from 6:30 to 9:30, with final entry at 9:00. Breakfast is available only when you stay at the hotel. Allergy support is limited because meals are prepared in shared kitchen spaces, so you should take care if you have serious food allergies.
Onsen and Wellness
Nishikishachi no Yu is the hotel’s natural hot spring bath on the 2nd floor. The water is brought in daily from Ikeda Sakura Onsen in Gifu, giving you a mineral-rich bath experience in the middle of Nagoya. The spring quality is alkaline hypotonic hot spring water, known for a smooth feel on the skin. The listed benefits include support for nerve pain, muscle pain, joint pain, and chronic digestive concerns.
The bath area has separate men’s and women’s spaces, each with an indoor bath, open-air bath, chilled water bath, and high-temperature dry sauna with TV. The bath is located on the 2nd floor, so it is designed more for soaking and recovery than for scenery, but the stonework, lighting, and quiet bath atmosphere help you shift out of city mode.
The large bath is open from 15:00 until 10:00 the next morning. The sauna closes from 1:00 to 5:00. After your bath, you can enjoy complimentary ice cream from 15:00 to 25:00, and a complimentary lactobacillus drink from 5:00 to 10:00 in the morning.
Guests with Tattoos
Dormy Inn PREMIUM Nagoya Sakae does not allow tattoos in the public hot spring baths. The hotel does not offer private hot spring baths, so you cannot use the onsen if you have tattoos.
