Lakeside Villa Suimeikaku has deluxe twin rooms as well as traditional Japanese and Western rooms. Every room at Lakeside Villa Suimeikaku comes with a natural hot spring bath where you can soak while admiring the stunning views of Lake Shikotsu.
Deluxe and special rooms offer large windows for enhanced views of the lake.
Dining
Lakeside Villa Suimeikaku has an onsite restaurant called Azzuro which focuses on select Hokkaido ingredients. It has a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand award so you just know your meal is going to be spectacular.
Onsen & Wellness
Lakeside Villa Suimeikaku has two private open-air baths, located close to the lake. One is made of stone while the other is made of cypress wood. To make use of them, you will need to reserve a time at the time of check-in. Of course, you are welcome to just enjoy the private onsen in your room.
Guests with tattoos
If you have tattoos, you can enjoy the private open air baths without any restrictions.
Facilities
Every room comes with its own onsen, and a massage chair. Inside the hotel you will find a relaxing lounge area with a fireplace for a cosy time after dinner. Don’t miss the gift shop, Yamasemi for purchasing localing souvenirs.

The villa’s location offers direct access to Lake Shikotsu, ideal for you to pursue some fun outdoor activities. Explore hiking trails such as Mt. Eniwa and Mt. Tarumae, or enjoy the panoramic views from the Lake Shikotsu Observation Deck.
Throughout the year, Lake Shikotsu hosts several festivals, including a Water Festival in summer and an Ice Festival in winter.
