At Tokowaka—meaning “Always Young”—your mind and body are invited to reconnect with vitality and clarity. Inspired by the 1,300-year tradition of rebuilding Ise Grand Shrine every 20 years, this bathhouse encourages you to renew your inner spirit while honoring timeless customs.
Bath Experiences
You’ll enjoy two distinct bathing experiences, each designed to cleanse both body and soul:
Pearl Aurora Bath (Outdoor)
In partnership with Mikimoto Cosmetics, this unique bath blends pearl-derived nutrients like conchiolin, collagen, and minerals. Your skin will emerge radiant and deeply moisturized. The bathing stones change color seasonally—glowing blue in summer and golden in winter for an atmospheric indulgence.
Therapy Bath (Indoor)
A spacious salt-based bath rich in sodium helps relieve fatigue, muscle stiffness, and coldness while promoting recovery. Its mineral-rich water is gentle yet invigorating.
Seasonal Benefits
Summer (Blue Season): The Pearl Aurora bath softens and cools your skin, while increasing circulation and ease of movement.
Winter (Gold Season): The warm, enveloping waters lock in moisture and comfort, perfect for relieving cold sensitivity, stiff shoulders, or lower back tension.
Rest & Refresh
After bathing, pamper yourself in the refined powder room. Refresh your skin with exclusive Mikimoto Cosmetics products—cleansing foam, lotion, and cream specially formulated for the spa. Enjoy a soothing glass of black soybean tea or cold water while relaxing.
