Comfort rooms are placed on higher floors and include extra features such as complimentary VOD room theater, upgraded room items, and added bath amenities. The barrier-free single room has a wider layout, step-free room design, sliding bathroom entrance, handrails, and space that supports wheelchair movement.
Your room includes Wi-Fi, a 40-inch television with WOWOW, a refrigerator, kettle, humidifying air purifier, desk space, roomwear, towels, and basic bath items. Each room has a unit bath, so you can bathe privately in your room when you do not use the shared hot spring bath.
Dining
Breakfast is served at Restaurant Nagomi as a Japanese and Western buffet. You can enjoy warm dishes, rice, side dishes, and freshly baked bread such as croissants and Danish-style pastries. The buffet gives you an easy start whether you want a light breakfast before a train ride or a fuller meal before the Alpine Route.
In the evening, Nagomi becomes a casual dining and drinking space. You can order simple dinner dishes such as rice bowls, noodles, Route-Inn’s original Ueda curry, set meals, sashimi, and small dishes that pair well with drinks. Dinner is served from 18:00 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30, and the evening restaurant is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Onsen and Wellness
The large public bath, Omachi Onsen “Tabibito no Yu,” uses natural hot spring water from Omachi Onsen. The water is a simple hot spring with low tonicity, weak alkalinity, and a high source temperature. It is clear, colorless, and odorless, so it feels easy to soak in even if you prefer a gentle hot spring.
The bath is separated by gender and is open from 15:00 to 2:00, then again from 5:00 to 10:00. This makes it useful after a late arrival or before an early departure. The water is heated, diluted with added water, circulated through filtration, and sanitized with chlorine-based treatment for hygiene and temperature control.
The bath area includes shampoo, conditioner, body soap, skin-care items, hair dryers, and basic grooming items. You can also check the large bath’s crowd level from your room television, so you can choose a quieter time to soak.
Guests with Tattoos
Hotel Route-Inn Shinano Omachi Ekimae has shared gender-separated public hot spring baths. Tattoos must be fully covered with a cover sticker before using the shared bath. Cover stickers are available at the front desk, and the tattoo must be completely hidden. If your tattoo cannot be fully covered, use the unit bath in your room instead.

Activities
This hotel is a strong base for the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Ogizawa Station, the Nagano-side entrance for the route toward Kurobe Dam, is about 40 minutes away by car. You can use the hotel for an overnight stay before heading into the mountains or after returning from the route.
You can also explore nearby Omachi sights. Wakakazu Oji Shrine is about six minutes away by car and has a historic shrine setting with a three-storied pagoda. Omachi Mountain Museum is also about six minutes away by car and introduces the nature, climbing history, animals, and mountain culture of the Northern Alps. The Shiki Theatre Asari Keita Memorial Museum is about 12 minutes away by car.
